The Soldier's Unsurpassable Honor novel Chapter 3576

For the sake of beating their opponents, they were willing to resort to any means necessary, including using beasts. Unbeknownst to them, however, the beasts had other plans.

The beasts that were at their peak were no less intelligent than humans. The strongest beast in Chaos City was a Black-scaled Tiger. Its natural-born technique was at the upper ultimate god realm, thus most of the warriors were no match for the tiger at all. It was also quick-witted with more than enough intelligence to scheme against humans.

The warriors from second-grade worlds tried to use the beasts against those from third-grade worlds and thus contacted the tiger to work with them. They would tell the beasts where all the warriors from third-grade worlds were, allowing the Black-scaled Tiger to lead a horde of beasts to kill the third-grade-world warriors.

However, the beasts had to keep the warriors alive so the warriors from second-grade worlds could retrieve the Heartblood. After that, the beast could kill the warriors from second-grade worlds for the blood beads.

The second-grade-world warriors' offer was accepted by the Black-scaled Tiger, but oddly enough, the warriors noticed that many of their own died as well…and it was at the hands of beasts.

They slowly realized something was wrong, and when they investigated the matter, they were furious.

The Black-scaled Tiger was working with those from third-grade worlds as well! Both sides provided information about each other, and the Black-scaled Tiger pretended to work with them. It might have seemed that the tiger was accommodating all their requests, but the humans had, in fact, been duped!

The humans were infuriated. They cursed the Black-scaled Tiger for being shameless and despicable, but the tiger was not a human in the first place, having no sense of morality. Everything it did was in consideration of its own benefits; it did not care what the humans said at all. It did as it pleased, gaining massive benefits.
