The Soldier's Unsurpassable Honor novel Chapter 3978

Even when Fane was hatching the plan, he had already anticipated Triton's entire speech. Sure enough, it went exactly as he expected. Fane's lips curled up into a faint smile as if he could not be bothered about those threats at all.

The smile on Fane's face felt too glaring to Triton's eyes. It made him feel like Fane was still trying to oppose him, so Triton narrowed his eyes as his anger started welling up. It took a lot of effort from him to suppress the anger in his heart.

Fane stated coldly, "Things should always be reciprocated. Since you want to ask me questions, then you should answer my questions before I answer you."

Triton's eyes suddenly widened. Fane was bold indeed! He was still trying to negotiate and demand answers from Triton before answering Triton's questions in that situation! Triton had heard of Fane's arrogance and stubbornness. He also heard that Fane was good at saying things that struck people's nerves.

After witnessing it for himself, Triton finally realized how frustrating Fane could be. Triton spoke through trembling lips, "Brat, you're really challenging my patience right now. Open your eyes and take a look around you. You should be mindful of your situation right now. Do you understand that you're my captive?! You might be standing here right now, but the moment I attack, you'd be like a piece of meat on the chopping board. I can slice you up however I please!"

Fane raised an eyebrow, slightly surprised at what Triton was saying. Fane thought that asking some questions would only be an insignificant request since Triton felt that he was in control of the situation. Fane did not expect Triton to react so strongly.

Triton was so angry that his eyebrows were twitching as he shot a vicious glare at Fane. "Brat, don't push your luck just because I'm being nice. I'm the one to decide what to do right now. You don't have the right to negotiate!"

Fane raised an eyebrow. Triton was right. When those people found Fane, they would probably not be in such a hurry to kill him. Instead, they would try to get all his secrets. After all, he had come from humble beginnings.

In their eyes, it was impossible for a genius like that to come from the Hestia Continent. In truth, they were not wrong. Fane had not gotten to where he was due to Hestia Continent at all. He raised an eyebrow but did not answer the question.

Triton's face twitched slightly at that moment. Fane was still ignoring him. That infuriated Triton even more. Triton took a deep breath before he cracked his neck, "Whatever! Since you aren't willing to accept my kindness, I will no longer be holding back!"
