The Soldier's Unsurpassable Honor novel Chapter 3980

Fane looked over to see Triton lying on the ground like a beaten dog. Triton's hand was still twitching slightly, showing that he did not perish from the explosion. However, he seemed to be in a bad state and was breathing erratically.

Fane walked over to see that Triton's chest was in a bad state. His flesh was completely mangled. A part of his face had been burnt black, to the point that even his mother would not be able to recognize it. Fane raised an eyebrow as he sighed in mild exasperation.

Triton was a strong opponent, after all, so Fane did not hold back that much. Fane did not know if Triton could even speak anymore. Fane slowly bent over and tried to feel for Triton's pulse. Triton suddenly opened his eyes. At that moment, his eyes were completely red. He looked like an evil spirit that came straight out of hell.

Triton clenched his teeth and rasped, "That was a trap!"

Only then did Triton realize that he had fallen for Fane's trap. If Fane had really been heavily injured, there was no way he would have been able to unleash an attack that powerful.

Triton did not hold back with his attack at all. However, he was still soundly defeated despite going all out. It was clear that Fane was not injured at all. In fact, Fane was in his peak form. It proved that everything that happened earlier had been a trap, and Triton had fallen for it. He had been fooled by Fane.

Triton looked around to find that there was no one else around other than himself and Fane. He clearly remembered chasing after Fane with his fellow disciples just now. They should have been right behind him, but not a single person was there at that moment. Triton was no idiot. He realized everything at that moment.

Yeagen was clearly a traitor and was probably the reason that his fellow disciples were not there. Triton cursed at Yeagen internally, but there was nothing he could do no matter how much he cursed.

His hands shook as pain filled his whole body. Even breathing felt painful. Fane laughed slightly, "I guess your brain still works. However, it's useless for you to know all of this right now."

Triton suddenly started to laugh right after Fane said that. His laughter got louder and louder to the point that Fane could not help but frown at how he was acting.

How was he still able to laugh? If that was not from him being pissed to his limits, then it would mean that he was going crazy. At that moment, Triton suddenly slapped his chest. There was a squelch, and Fane was not able to react to how suddenly it had happened. Triton spat out a mouthful of blood from his charred face.

Triton used the last of his breath to say, "Don't even think about getting any information out of me!"

With that, Triton breathed his last while Fane stood frozen in place.
