“Look! That's the guy!” Jacinta touched the screen of her phone frantically. “Ah! He's gone again! Someone blocked him. I almost saw his face just now!”

“Calm down, Granny,” Winnie quickly comforted Jacinta when she saw how anxious Jacinta looked. “I have more than one surveillance camera. He'll appear in another footage later.”

“Okay, okay. Then, I'll continue to keep watch. He won't be able to run away.”

Soon, that person got into the hot spring. However, because of the lighting and the steam, the footage became blurrier than ever.

Winnie had indeed seen someone with a birthmark on his chest. Unfortunately, she couldn't see that person's face for various reasons and angles.

Jacinta, next to Winnie, had grown so impatient that she was even beating her chest. “Why do people keep blocking him? Why is he covering his face with a towel? Ah! Great! He's gone underwater now! In the darkness, Winnie made her way to the hot spring.

When she considered the possibility that the man with the birthmark might leave at any time, she had no choice but to look for a shortcut.

The manor was really huge, and the hot spring was at the back of the hill. She had to climb a little hill to get there as soon as possible through the shortcut.

The hill wasn't too high, so if she were fast enough, she'd only need a little over ten minutes to get there. Besides, she had been there before, so she was quite familiar with the path.

There was a little pavilion on the hilltop. Seeing that she was about to reach the pavilion, Winnie decided to take a short break. While resting, I'll watch the surveillance footage and call Granny to see how things are over there for now.

However, she heard someone speaking there before she got close to the pavilion.

Winnie had met Zyon earlier in the afternoon. He was in a wheelchair when he was sent straight to the manor from the hospital.

I can't believe he's still out on a secret rendezvous on the hilltop when he's sitting in a wheelchair! I knew it! Those two have a secret relationship!

Zyon sounded angry. “Are you still f*cking trying to get back together with him? Did you even finish what I asked you to do? You didn't even get anything done!”

Yulissa winced. “T-That's b-because I still couldn't get the right chance to do it. He was always on a business trip and only returned two days ago. I couldn't do anything.”

“Hah! Yulissa, you're fooling with me, aren't you? Do you f*cking think I'm stupid? Can't you inject it into his system? Are you still waiting for him to take the drug by himself? Have you completely forgotten how you got yourself involved with these in the very beginning?”

“Give me a little more time. I really couldn't find the chance to do it when our time together was minimal these days.”

“You'd better not play any tricks, or I won't give you any of these! You'll know what a living hell feels like then!”

“Yes, I understand. I really do.”

Having no other choice, she played dumb once more. “Ah! Hurts! It hurts! Help! Save me! Granny! Where are you?”

The moment she started wailing, Zyon and Yulissa recognized her.

Zyon frowned. “You? What is a dumbass like you doing here?”

Winnie continued to cry without saying anything.

All that noise gave Zyon a headache. He cursed, “Shut up! Are you trying to let the entire world know that you're here? I'm asking you a question! What are you doing here?”

Seeing that Zyon was mad, Winnie replied between sobs, “W-Winnie wants to get stars. There are stars on the hill.”

Zyon was at a loss for words at her response. “You're really a dumbass. That's enough. Let her go. She's too noisy.”

Suddenly, Yulissa stood up. “Wait! She saw us and heard our conversation. You can't just let her go like this!”

Zyon was pissed at Yulissa's interference. “Are you telling me what to do? She's a f*cking dumbass!”

Yulissa took a deep breath. When she thought about Xavier's affection for Winnie, she was overwhelmed by jealousy. “But she's not as dumb as we think she is! She can recognize us and repeat what we say! If Xavier finds out about this, we're doomed.”

“What do you have in mind, then?”

Immediately, she looked around her and fixed her gaze on a cliff.
