At Yulia's continued reluctance, Hillary's expression turned cold.
"What's the matter? You're just an unknown model, so why are you pretending to be noble? Let me tell you, this is not up to you! Do you think the company can continue sidelining you like this? If you can't bring the company any benefits, you will have to pay a hefty compensation fee for breaching your contract! Think carefully. Do you want to pursue a relationship with Mr. Lawson or be burdened with an insurmountable debt?"
With those words, she stood up and left without hesitation.
After Hillary departed, Yulia immediately covered her face and burst into tears. However, she suddenly remembered what Hillary had said earlier after a while. 'What? Are you trying to get me into trouble? If you just walk away, how could I explain it to him?'
Yulia realized that Hillary had to be referring to Mr. Lawson. This, combined with Hillary mentioning that Mr. Lawson knew the actor with whom she was rumored to be involved, made Yulia realize that this was all a conspiracy. Yulia deduced that Mr. Lawson had probably known that she didn't want to engage in casual relationships and devised this cunning plan to coerce her into compliance.
And indeed, Yulia's deduction was correct. Kendall had given Hillary a substantial sum to establish a relationship with Yulia. Hillary had repeatedly hinted at Yulia about this matter, but Yulia had always refused.
