Shakira stood still, quietly watching as they went at each other like dogs fighting.

Felix stayed calm. “I’ll be waiting” Then he turned away from Figna without another glance, soothing Yvette in a low voice before walking over to Shakira. 

Felix said, “Dr. Lonely Bird, why don’t you come sit with us?” 

Yvette added warmly. “Yes, Dr. Lonely Bird, take my seat. 

Shakira raised an eyebrow, watching them with keen interest. She was curious about what would happen if Felix knew that the esteemed Dr. Lonely Bird he was defending was actually her Shakira.

Everyone else at the table noticed her movements, holding their breath and curiously looking over. After all, no one could resist being curious about what the legendary “Lonely Bird” from the medical world looked like. 

Fiona clenched her fists tightly, but when she saw Lonely Bird fully revealed before everyone, she suddenly let out a deep breath of relief, Then, a cold smirk crept across her face. “Shakira, if you have the ability, keep pretending! she thought. 

Shakira stuffed her mask and sunglasses into her pocket and looked up to find everyone staring at her blankly. She smirked slightly. “What, is there something on my face?” 

Everyone snapped back to reality. “Oh no, it’s just surprising to see Dr. Lonely Bird’s face.” 

“Yeah, it really caught us off guard.” 

Shakira smiled silently. There was no way she could reveal her true face. Although she always wore a mask and sunglasses, she had been using special effects makeup since her first day at the clinic. 

So what people saw was just a plain, forgettable face, one that would be hard to recognize in a crowd. 

Noticing that Felix was still staring at Fier, Shakira turned to him Dr. Felix.”

Inside were various pet supplies, and Shakira spotted luxury–brand bowls and clothing. 

Seeing this, Yvette chimed in from the other side to support Felix, explaining. Dr. Lonely Bird, please don’t be upset. My brother has always admired you, and he never expected to have dinner with you up close and see your true self. He’s just really excited.” 

“Last time I learned that you like cats, my brother even went to the store to pick out these gifts himself! He never spends 

on anything outside of medical research,” she said

Shakira chuckled softly and casually remarked, “You’re really protective of your sister, Mr. Nelson.” 

Felix didn’t think much and went along with her words. “We have a lot of boys in our family and only one sister, so she naturally gets more attention.” 

Shakira looked at his insincere facade with indifference, ‘Only one sister? Yeah, right. 

Feeling Shakira’s gaze on him, which seemed both amused and enigmatic, Felix couldn’t shake the strange feeling in his chest. 

Despite sitting so close, he found it impossible to read Dr. Lonely Bird’s thoughts. He wanted to gauge her feelings, but he couldn’t find any clues on her face.

As the show went on, Shakira took a few quick pictures of the food and sent them to Walter. Then, she placed her phone face down on the table, quietly watching the guests interact.
