Cecilia’s words set off a storm in Christopher’s heart. 

His embrace tightened involuntarily, causing her to experience a slight twinge of pain. 

Cecilia pushed Christopher’s arms away, looked up at him, and asked curiously, “What’s wrong?” 

She hoped he was not feeling jealous just because she saved a young man when she was a child. 

Christopher looked at Cecilia carefully and did not see the boy on her. 

He felt he was overthinking and immediately calmed down. 

At the same time, a little hope flickered in his heart. 

Therefore, he asked, “Ceci, was your assassination mission in Erihal when you were eight years old?” 

He didn’t hold much hope when he asked. 

Cecilia sat up and looked at Christopher coldly. “You found out about my past?”
