While Charlie was undergoing facial treatments, Christopher came out of the examination room. 

Cecilia immediately approached and asked the attending doctor, “How is Christopher’s condition?” 

The attending doctor glanced at the test reports and said, “A few results are still pending, but the ones we have show positive signs.” 

With that, he handed the reports to Cecilia. 

“I’ll inform the nurses to monitor his temperature more frequently. If he develops a fever, we’ll handle it promptly.” 

Cecilia knew that a fever could compromise the immune system and strain Christopher’s already weakened body, leading to various complications. 

“I’ll personally take care of Christopher. I won’t let him develop a fever. Please provide me with a copy of the reports once all the results are available.” 

The attending doctor nodded and said, “Alright, I’ll get back to my duties.” Cecilia and Christopher returned to the sterile ward together. 

After the nurses finished their tasks, Cecilia said, “Chris, Forte Group is in trouble. They need you to hold a video conference with the shareholders.” 

During Christopher’s unconscious period, he seemed to have heard Cecilia mention this issue before. 

He struggled to focus and said, “Ceci, please tell me about Forte Group’s situation.” 

Cecilia shared everything she knew, including the fact that Fabian had been taken to the police station. 

“You won’t think I’m interfering too much, will you?” she asked. 

After all, Fabian was Christopher’s biological father, and his feelings toward the former were undoubtedly different from other members of the Forte family. 

Christopher managed a faint smile, his pale lips displaying a sickly beauty.

As a matter of fact, he couldn’t personally persuade the police station and the court to consider Forte Group’s reputation and quietly deal with this case, minimizing the impact. 

Now, everyone only knew that Fabian had been arrested but had no idea why. 

Cecilia had benefited from her association with the Shaw family, making it easier for her to handle the troublesome situation involving Fabian. 

“This is all I can do to help you. The crisis at Forte Group needs you to resolve it on your own,” she said. 

Christopher nodded in understanding. “Ceci, help me make a call to Solomon.” 

Soon, Solomon answered the phone. 

After two days and nights of frantic work, he was exhausted, and his eyes became bloodshot, giving him a haggard appearance. 

He thought Cecilia was the one calling and said weakly, “Ms. Yancey, thank you for resolving the major trouble caused by Fabian. I don’t know what I would have done without you. When will Mr. Forte wake up?” 

After Fabian was arrested, Solomon used all his resources to stabilize the situation inside the company. 

However, if Christopher continued to remain absent, the situation would quickly deteriorate. 

Christopher detected Solomon’s exhaustion. “At three o’clock this afternoon, convene a video conference with the shareholders. I want to see who dares to replace me as the CEO of Forte Group!” 

Although he sounded weak, his determination remained unwavering. Solomon was nearly moved to tears. “Mr. Forte, you’ve finally awakened!” After saying that, he realized he was rambling. He quickly continued, “Okay, I’ll immediately contact the shareholders.” 

“Thank you for your hard work.” 

This sentence made Solomon feel like all his efforts had been worthwhile. 

“Mr. Forte, it was not hard at all,” he replied respectfully. 

“Contact all the top executives. We’ll have a meeting at five o’clock.”
