“Darryl!”
Finally, Jacob snapped back to his senses. He looked at Darryl with a darkened expression. “Who is this woman next to you? Can you introduce her to us?”
Jacob looked at Jackie curiously.
He did not believe that Darryl was an evil person. However, the woman next to him seemed distressed, and it made Jacob suspicious.
At the same time, Parker also looked at Darryl closely. Her heart pounded; she felt conflicted.
‘Is Darryl as what Lucas says? A despicable person? If not, how can he explain the distressed woman next to him?’
“Oh, her!”
Darryl smiled and said, “She is my wife, and we’ve accidentally stumbled into this underground molten cave. Unfortunately, the environment is too hot; that is why she looks like that.”
Then, Darryl turned his head and looked at Jackie. He smiled and said, “Honey, come and say hello.”
Darryl’s expression was relaxed when he said that.
He had not wanted to spew nonsense like that. However, he understood that Jackie and the Famed Sword Manor had an ongoing feud. If he were to tell them her real identity, then she would be finished.
Even though Jackie had previously done many cruel things, Darryl believed that she was not a bad person. So, he was not willing to see her in danger.

Jackie shuddered as she blushed. She glared at Darryl; she was embarrassed and furious at the same time.
‘Darryl, that b*stard!’ He could not settle his own problems, so he dragged her into it to use her as a shield. How dare he claim that she was his woman!
How despicable!
Wife?
At that moment, everyone was stunned.
Why did it not look like that? The woman was glaring at Darryl with rage and hatred in her eyes. They looked like enemies. How could she be his wife?
