With Kendall as a guide, Skylar brought Debra to a quiet courtyard.

Skylar let go of Debra's hand and said apologetically, "Debra, I know you will blame me for this, but 1 have no other choice but to do it. I can’t let you go back to Darryl, and I can't give you up to His Excellency Archfiend, so I can only let you live here. Rest assured that I'll come to visit you often."
