Both Kendall and Dex let out a grunt and flew back due to the force of the collision. 1

Dex was shocked, he was already one of the most powerful beings in all of the Nine Mainlands, he was also using the sky Breaking Axe, yet their short bout arrived at a stalemate. 1

Dex of course could not have known that Kendall had been infused with the fiend blood of Skylar. Furthermore, she had received tutelage from Skylar and her skills had improved a great deal.

Chester and Yvette who saw what had transpired were shocked too.

How could Kendall's skills improve so much in such a short span of time?

Chester and others immediately started coming to Dex’s aid, however, Dex stopped them before they could get close. “Brother Chester! She’s mine! Go help Master Magaera!”

After that, Dex turned his attention back to Kendall, “I underestimated you, but that’s all. Today is the day you perish! ”

Dex immediately went after Kendall again.

“Bring it on!” replied Kendall as she too attacked Dex head-on again.

Both of them clashed mid-air again and start trading blows.

Chester, without any hesitation, told Yvette, “Leave Dex, we have to help Master Magaera. Go attack the centipede.”

Chester knew that this was the best chance of killing the centipede who had been terrorizing the Nine Mainlands for so long.

“Okay! ” replied Yvette and the others as they attacked the centipede.

In an instant, the centipede was swarmed by Chester’s army and Master Magaera finally got a chance to take a breather. He immediately landed on a roof nearby and started to recover his lost energy,

The ancient poisonous centipede, annoyed by the pesky attacks, let out a guttural cry and started thrashing around. Flinging its gigantic body at the people attacking it.

Chester’s army immediately retreated and attacked afar.

Their skills exploded on the body of the ancient poisonous centipede, pushing it back. However, it did minimal damage to the hardened shell of the ancient poisonous centipede.

It did annoy the ancient poisonous centipede though, and it spat out poison which immediately turned into a fine mist and spread towards Chester and his army.

“Get out! Do not come into contact with the mist!” reminded Chester.

Everyone immediately spread out and resumed attacking the ancient poisonous centipede from a distance.
