"It's my fault. It's my fault." Skye pursed her lips, almost causing them to bleed. Without much a thought, she knelt on the ground as her body trembled.
'He had already murdered Theodore. If I don't admit that I am wrong, I am afraid I will die as well.'
When Archfiend Antigonus noticed Skye trembling, he chuckled and teased her. "You two appear to be a perfect match. Why don't you two die together? Whatever happened to him, you will—"
Boom!
Archfiend Antigonus immediately struck the top of Skye's head with his hand. She screamed and passed out.
At that point, Archfiend Antigonus ignored the three of them on the floor and walked upstairs. As he approached the main hall, he waved to someone.
"Young Master, what are your orders?" the subordinate frightfully asked.
He heard a noise upstairs and realized that someone had died. Hackett was also frightening because his body was covered in blood.
Archfiend Antigonus smiled. "Don't worry. Listen to my instructions. You didn't see me tonight, and I didn't return. You don't know anything about what happened here, you hear?"
"Yes, yes!" The subordinate nodded.
Then, Archfiend Antigonus walked out of the mansion and disappeared into the night.
…
At an abandoned fishing village at the border between the South Cloud World and the Great East.
The night had fallen, and a few figures could be seen rushing over in the distance. The leader was a middle-aged man wearing a long gray robe. He was holding a longsword and looked majestic.
It was the Sect Master of the Sword Sect, Jedidiah.
Sienna and a few elite disciples were close behind him.
Sienna and Diego had gone there three days before and discovered Quincy washed up on the shore. They took her to the deserted fishing village. After some deliberation, Sienna returned to the sect to report the situation, while Diego remained behind to look after Quincy.
