The Ultimate Husband (Darryl and Lily Lyndon) novel Chapter 4933

"Darryl is still our savior in some way. Don't you feel bad just kicking him out?"

Daisy was kind-hearted; she thought Keele was being unreasonable. When Hendrick and the others arrived, he did not dare to speak a single word, leaving Darryl to face them alone. When they were gone, he wanted Darryl to leave.

"I—"

Keele was speechless; he defended himself after a brief moment. "You're not wrong, but will you be able to handle it when Hendrick and the rest come back here?"

Daisy stood frozen in place. She bit down on her lips without knowing what to say.

Darryl said calmly, "If he comes back here, I'll be able to fend him off."

He turned to look at Daisy and said, "Don't worry! I'm here!"

Daisy nodded. She immediately felt relieved after hearing that. She did not know why she felt so safe with Darryl even though she had just known him for a day.

"You'd fend him off?"

"Kendrick had so many men with him, and you wanted to fend him off yourself? Look at you. You look sick and weak. How are you going to defeat him?" Keele said, almost jumping up from being overwhelmed.

Darryl completely ignored him and smiled at Daisy. "Your master is coming back soon. Let's clean up the place."

Daisy nodded and ignored Keele as she started cleaning up the mess with Darryl.

"You—"

"Daisy, can you please listen to me?"

Keele became increasingly enraged at their indifference, but there was nothing he could do. He stomped and walked to the backyard, feeling helpless.

Daisy and Darryl finally finished cleaning the hall after a short while.

"Let me do that!" Darryl said when he saw Daisy lighting the sandalwood incense. He took the incense, lit it, and stuck it into the burner. Darryl also sneaked some medicine powder into the burner.
