Quickly enough, they reached the pill-making room.
Darryl retrieved a pill from the box, smiling at Sandra as he asked, "Did your master tell you what those pills were or what they were used for before you came here?"
Sandra gave it some thought and said, "My master said they were the Black Power Pills. It could double one's power within an hour of consumption."
'Yes!'
Darryl nodded. The Black Power Pill was known as the Divine Power Pill in the Nine Mainland. Both had the same effect and probably had similar formulas to make them as well.
Darryl turned to address Sofia. "Get me a few ingredients and herbs, Sofia."
As he spoke, Darryl listed out the things he needed in detail.
"Alright, Sect Master!"
Sofia grinned before rushing off to prepare them.
What…
Sandra and Gigi stopped short. They seemed to realize something, and their gazes shone with shock.
Did he want to make those pills on the spot?
Amidst her shock, Gigi asked, "Are you going to make the pills? The pills in the box were found in an ancient tomb; they're worth a fortune. You can't just make them."
Was Darryl going to make the pills?
Could he do it? Or was it only a scam?
"Of course, I can!" Darryl nodded with a smile, uncaring of Gigi's tone. "You don't believe me, do you? I'll make one for you right now, and you'll understand everything."
Darryl looked at Gigi with amusement.
Had they not already touched in the hot spring? Why was she so prickly, trying to pick a bone with him at every turn?
Sandra did not respond, but she silently agreed with Gigi.
Darryl chose not to speak further after observing them in that manner. Sofia quickly retrieved all the necessary supplies.
Darryl looked them over once to ensure everything was in order, then nodded approvingly to Sofia. Despite being young, she had good maturity for her age. Nothing was missing.
Darryl began to light the flame as he arranged the ingredients.
Everything was in place.
Whew...
Gigi's eyes sparked at his demeanor, which was one of seriousness and expertise.
Gigi had not believed it when she heard that the man was an expert at making pills. All she could think was that he was a pervert who was all sweet talk with nothing to show for it.
It appeared as though the man genuinely knew his stuff.
