Isabella was pissed off when she heard his words. At least she was from the Paynes, the campus belle pursued by many guys and they couldn't wait to get along with her alone. Tom, however, not only was he unwilling, but he even said that it was bad luck to know her. Was she that bad?
It must not be that she was not attractive enough, but that Tom's sexual orientation was different!
It was a little late now, and the temperature gradually dropped. Isabella only wore a thin dress. She had just cried, and now the night wind was blowing, making her shiver in cold.
Seeing this, Tom took off his coat, put it on her, and said, "Don't think too much There are still many good men in the world. There's no need to put all your eggs in one basket. Well, it's getting late. You should go back as soon as possible. Have a good sleep and you'll be much better when you wake up the next day."
Isabella was cold at first. Feeling the warmth of Tom's clothes, she was stunned for a moment, then a wave of happiness flooded her. Looking at Tom, she felt much better.
"Thank you," Isabella said softly.
Tom waved his hand and said, "No need. Have your eyes open and make sure you won't be fooled by scumbag anymore."
Isabella nodded and said, "Got it."
After talking to Tom, she was in a much better mood than before. Fortunately, she did not lose her virginity to Heath, or else she would have suffered a great loss.
Instead, now that she was looking at Tom, she couldn't help but feel that Tom was pretty good man. If...
Immediately, she shook her head hard to get rid of this terrible idea. He was a married man, and he was so much older than her.
Tom's phone rang at this time. He took it out and found that it was Phoebe. He walked aside to answer the phone. Over the phone, Phoebe asked him where he had gone and wanted to ask him to go to the movies with her.
Tom agreed, briefly said a few words, and hung up the phone.
"I've just got a few things to do first. I have to go. You should go back and rest early. Don't think too much about what happened just now," Tom said.
Isabella stood up and said, "Ah? Do you have to leave so soon? It's not even nine o'clock yet."
Tom didn't hide it from her and said, "My wife asked me to go to the movies, so I'll leave you alone."
"Oh..." After hearing this, Isabella felt inexplicably disappointed. Now that she was not in a relationship and she had a nice talk with Tom for so long, she had a better impression of Tom, and unconsciously, she became dependent on him.
After walking for more than ten meters, Tom was still worried. He came back and said to her, "Forget it. I'd better send you back first, lest something happens to you later. I don't know how to explain it to your family."
If it had been before, Isabella would have ignored the previous words of him and only heard the latter. But now it happened to be the other way around. She only kept his previous words in mind. Her heart was moved again.
"Well, thank you," Isabella said softly.
Tom nodded secretly, feeling that Isabella was not so obstinate.
When Isabella was sent to the door of the manor, Tom stopped and left after saying goodbye to her. Isabella was a little stunned, staring at his back. When Tom was out of her sight, she looked away as she realized that the coat had not been returned to Tom.
Subconsciously, she wanted to catch up and return the coat to Tom, but after a few steps, she stopped and a thought-provoking smile appeared on her face. She was supposed to be in a depressed and painful mood, but now she felt much better.
Tom soon met Phoebe and went to see a recently released movie together. Then they went home after a midnight snack.
Now that they were a normal couple, their sexual appetite was easy to be kindled, given that they were both at an energetic age.
However, it was often Tom who ended up suffering. With Tom's current physique, Phoebe could not satisfy him at all.
Seeing this, Phoebe beat herself up over this. She hugged Tom and said, "Tom, why don't you find another woman?"
