The wrong Woman novel by Ginny Not Genie novel Chapter 207

Suzanne patted her thighs awkwardly and said, "You should get some rest too."

She cast a few reluctant glances at the man and turned to leave, closing the door behind her.

As she walked along the hallway, her eyes turned red. She tilted her head upwards and started taking deep breaths as she walked.

If you loved someone, you'd long for their company more than anyone else's when hurt or upset.

Nathan asked her to leave when he needed someone to look after him the most. Had he not made it obvious enough?

He didn't need her at all.

She walked out of the hospital and was greeted by the sun. However, her heart felt cold and upset. She didn't feel any warmth at all.

Cole was walking toward her direction. Upon noticing her, he said hastily, "Mrs. Morrison, your brother is here."

"My brother?" she said, surprised.

He nodded. "Yes. I brought him to the reception room in the office building. He wants to see you and the general."

She tightened her fist and hurried toward the building with her teeth clenched.

She'd seen her fair share of shameless people, but none were as audacious as Samuel. Nothing good could come out of him paying a visit to the Norvanian Military.

She stormed into the building. Upon pushing the door open, she saw the man nonchalantly sipping coffee with his legs crossed on the sofa. He scanned the office arrogantly before his gaze finally landed on her.

"Suzanne, you're here." He set the cup down and stood up.

"What are you doing here?" she demanded furiously.

He shot her a devious smile. "I'm planning to start over and get a proper job. I'm here to ask my brother-in-law for a position at the Norvanian Military so I can work for him in the future."
