Rowena was kicked out of the Walter family. The very sight of her disgusted Graham, and there was no way he would allow her to stay, so he had his lawyer prepare for divorce. After everything was settled, he turned to Evan, who was still in his home, looking a little stunned.

"I'm sorry you had to watch the whole circus."

"Mr. Walter, don't worry about it. Jenny is my family, and you're her family, so you're my family too."

What had happened made Evan realize how much Jenny had suffered at Rowena's hands.

His words changed Graham's perception of Evan. Of course, Graham knew Evan had feelings for Jenny. He had also heard that they grew up together and were childhood sweethearts. However, if he really had feelings for her, why did he only come to pursue her now?
