"Sister?" Wren scoffed. "You have no blood relation to her. Continuing to associate with her will only drag you down. You've just returned to the country. Offending the Sumners won't be good for you. I'm doing this for your own good!"

"I said, I don't care," Gabriel insisted.

"You don't care?" Wren angrily threw the clothes she was holding onto the sofa and stood up, gritting her teeth. "Even if you don't care, can't you think about me?
