After hanging up, Nyla sat on the sofa, contemplating who could be behind the situation. Whoever knew about the Harris Pharmaceuticals incident and could track down Steven to use him against her must hold significant power.

When Valarie emerged from the bathroom, she noticed Nyla staring off into space on the sofa. She walked over and waved her hand in front of Nyla's face. "What's got you so lost in thought?"
