Katherine sat still in shock, trying to process all that just came out of her Baby daddy's mouth. He spoke with so much confidence and that angered her the most.
She had no idea when she threw her duvet aside, got down from the bed, and matched towards him where he was seated. "You're nothing but an arrogant bastard and I would never allow my children to grow up with someone like you."
"You mean OUR children?" He mumbled with a small smile playing at the edge of his lips. No one dared to talk to Oliver in a rude manner, not even his father. God knows he couldn't stand any form of disrespect. But there was something so different about Katherine. He loved it when he saw this side of her. It was a huge turn-on for him.
"They are MINE. Sophie, Sebastian, and Sammie are mine only. I gave birth to them and took care of them alone while you were busy fucking different species and whoring around. You can't tell me what to do and who to allow in their lives because you don't have a say."
"You must be so silly if you think your money will get you custody. I'm going to fight this out with you and make sure that I win."
"I wouldn't dare me if I were you."
"Why?, You think I'm scared of you and your stupid money? To hell with you if you think I'm gonna give in to your silly threats or give up easily."
"Bring it on, I'm going to show you what I can be capable of.
"Don't dare me, woman! God knows I'm trying my best to make this right. I'm trying to be civil with you but you're making it so damn hard. Don't bring out the beast in me."
"Does it look like I give a fuck about you or whatever Secret behavior you have? You're free to do your worst and I promise you that you're going to lose big time."
"Don't push me, Katherine. I'm trying my hardest not to be a beast." He glared at her
Katherine found herself laughing. "What's the difference between you and a beast?"
"You definitely need to be taught some really good lessons. Me, you, and our kids will be leaving for Australia on Friday morning. We will get married on Saturday morning. Be prepared."
She had no choice but to burst into another round of laughter.
Oliver said nothing. He wasn't offended. He just stared at her as she laughed to her heart content.
"Are you done?" He asked with a calm voice when she was done.
"Have you ever tried going into comedy because that's the funniest shit I've ever heard?"
"I'm not joking with you, woman!",
Katherine frowned. Not only could she see the seriousness in his eyes, but she could also hear it in his voice.
"You...you don't expect me to leave my life behind and follow you to Australia like a lost puppy. With your horrible lifestyle, there's no way I'm gonna allow my babies to be around someone like you. Never!"
"My job, my family, friends, home, you expect me to leave everything and go with you? That must be some kind of sick joke."
"I didn't go as far as breaking up whatever relationship you have with that thwart just to back out. I did what I did to make things go my way."
"So you made these up?"
"He had some dark secrets so I used them to my advantage. It's his fault that he fucked up. I'm glad he did because he made things easy for me."
"I'm not leaving here."
"You no longer have a say on that. Today's Saturday and I've been fair enough by giving you sufficient notice."
"To hell with you and your hallucinations. My kids and I are going nowhere."
"Then I might just have you tied up and then throw you into the private jet."
"I would love to see you achieve that!" She glared at him, so sure that there was no way she and her kids were going with him.
"We shall see about that!" He rose to his feet.
"You've got any questions before I take my leave?"
"There's no way in hell that I'm going anywhere with you."
"It's a pity that you think I'm joking. Well, we will see about that."
After staring at her for a second, he took his leave…
Ollie was a few steps away from the door when he stopped in his tracks. "That being said, I still want to see my kids tomorrow. It will be proper for them to get acquainted with me before we all move to Australia."
With the way Katherine stared at him like he had horns in his head, Ollie knew she had a lot to say but not wanting to engage in any more heated conversation with her, especially after all that happened today, he helped himself out of her room.
Oliver went straight to his temporary room. He took off his million-dollar jacket, took off his shoes, unbuttoned his shirt which he took off, and flinged on the bed.
Barefooted, he took slow steps towards his nightstand and poured himself two shots of alcohol he placed there earlier today.
He tucked his hand in his back pocket, brought out his phone, and dialed the last person on his call history.
"Yo, son. How's the wedding going?" Charles said, sounding rather cheerful.
"Where are you, Dad?" Ollie asked curiously, knowing it was broad daylight in Australia.
"When did you become my bodyguard?" He said in a husky voice which prompted Ollie to roll his eyes.
"Trust me, I don't give two fucks about your present location. I just want to know where you are so I would know if you can help me carry out a favor."
"I'm in Victoria but I'll be going back to Queensland tomorrow. What do you want?" Charles knew his son was ridiculously independent. Independent in the sense that, he was used to doing stuff himself and hardly asked for favors. So whenever he did, Charles knew there was a serious situation
Oliver shook his head in disbelief. He needed no one to tell him what his father went to do in Victoria. The old man had the nerve to send him to a country that caused him so many responsibilities while he went on with his life as though nothing was wrong.
Since Oliver didn't say anything, his father spoke. "How did the wedding go? I've been waiting for feedback. Did Beatrice like her gift? You're coming back tomorrow right?"
