Every single word that Molly said punched him right in his guts.

He looked very devastated as he held his fists tightly. He looked at Molly, and he could never imagine doing the same thing to her.

He had no idea how she could have the heart to do that.

Benjamin took a deep breath and softly said while holding back his pain, "Okay. I understand now, but I'm not going to give up."

He was so stubborn and willful.

Molly looked and him and helplessly said, "I just don't want you to waste any more time on me."

She could not accept Benjamin's deep affection for her, nor could she be responsible for it.

After saying that, Molly took a step to the side and left.

She rested for a while in the pantry after having her lunch. She sat there until two in the afternoon, the time when she was supposed to return to the lab.

'Sean is coming to pick me up?'

'Is he still worried about me?'
