Chapter 720

Brycen did not go to her for chit-chat. He casually said two sentences before he directly said, "Molly, I want to ask you a question."

"Sure." Molly nodded her head.

Brycen then said, "All this while, I've never heard you talk about the man who got you pregnant... So, I want to ask whether you still remember him?"

Molly looked angry as she heard that.

She did not expect Brycen to ask her that suddenly.

The man who made her an unwed pregnant lady was a traumatic memory for her. No one could talk about it!

Molly suddenly stared at Brycen coldly. She scolded in a low voice, "Get out!"

"Huh?"

Brycen was shocked. He just came in not long ago.

’I said, get out!" Molly showed a grim face as she repeated that.

A lesser man would probably leave immediately. But, Brycen was not a lesser man. He could tell that Molly was still sore over the incident where she got pregnant before marriage.

So, he continued and nicely said, "Molly, don't be angry. It was just a question.

"I just wanted to ask you what if the man who got you pregnant comes back to you one day? Would you still want him?"

Anger poured through Molly as she heard that!

She did not even call him brother. She stared at Brycen immediately as she asked coldly, "Brycen, what's wrong with you? Are you pouring salt on my wounds on purpose? Do you want to make me upset?"

"1-1 didn't mean to..."

"I'm going to chase you out with a broom if you don't get out now.” Molly's voice was a lot colder.

"All right. I'll leave."

Brycen was frustrated. Why was her reaction so dramatic when I mentioned the man who got her pregnant?

'Seems like she hasn't moved on from the past!'

Brycen could only leave Molly's room ashamedly. He then told the three little ones about it. He purposely wept as he tried to impress them, "Your uncle risked his relationship with your mother to help you guys to ask her that. You guys should comfort me, right?"

Upon seeing this, they winked at Claudia.

Claudia then walked forward sensibly to open her little hands as she said in a childish tone, "Uncle is the best. Don't cry. Give me a hug, uncle."

She made Brycen laugh right away. He opened his hands to hold Claudia in his arms. He touched her chubby face with his face that was full of stubble beards. "Hug. Let's hug.”

He rubbed his beard all over Claudia's face. She immediately looked disgusted as she pushed him away. "Uncle, no. Your beard is so tingly!"

Brycen laughed even more happily all of a sudden.
