Chapter 872
For some reason, Nathan, who was sitting at the side, felt a twinge in his heart after looking at how distraught Molly was.
He could not help but concernedly ask, "Molly, you should eat more. How will you have the energy to search for him if you didn't eat enough?"
Molly snapped back after hearing Nathan's words!
She swept her glance over Nathan, feeling somewhat strange...
After all, Nathan had never ever cared for her like this!
Molly got goosebumps all over after hearing what Nathan said to her.
However, Molly responded softly out of courtesy anyway. "Thanks, but you don't have to worry about me. I'm fine."
Nathan felt awkward and stopped trying to convince her.
Then, Tony's phone rang.
"Hello, Mr. Hill. I've found the family that you told me about earlier! That kid, Caden Grant, is the son of Ms. May's foster mother, Linda King, right?"
"Yes, that's right."
Tony answered the police officer's question.
Then, the officer asked again, "Great. So, Linda King is diagnosed with stomach cancer not long ago, and she's staying in Ridgeview Hospital now.
I guess her son, Caden Grant, is with her now. That's all I could find out. You guys should probably go to the hospital."
"Got it. Thanks."
"Don't mention it."
Tony hung up the phone after saying that and repeated everything to Sean and Molly.
"Stomach cancer?" Molly was shocked to hear what Tony told her.
She did not see that coming at all!
'Caden is probably taking care of her in the hospital!'
Molly immediately stood up as she thought of that. "Sean, let's look for him in the hospital. He could be there."
Sean nodded and left with her. Then, they arrived at Ridgeview Hospital after searching for it.
"Hello, is there a patient named Linda King here?" Molly went to the front desk and asked.
The nurse saw Molly and asked, "Are you her family member?”
Molly hesitated and then nodded, "I guess!”
The nurse nodded and typed something into the computer. Then, she told Molly, "The patient is staying in ward 306 right now. Go to the third floor, and you'll see it."
"Okay, thank you!"
Molly turned around and went up to the third floor.
Very soon, Molly found the location of ward 306, but she did not open the door...
She looked inside through the window and saw her foster mother lying weakly on the bed. Linda was even on a ventilator!
Molly had mixed feelings after seeing that.
Linda used to say a lot of mean things to her just because she was not her biological daughter.
