True Fated Marriage (Grace and Heinz) novel Chapter 2254

When Claudia saw how Sylvia nervous was, she became even more speechless. She could not help rolling her eyes.

"Sylvia, oh Sylvia. What should I say to you?" Claudia sounded very helpless.

"I probably messed up." Sylvia's lips twitched awkwardly. "Come on, tell me."

"Well have to get moving. The deliveryman is still waiting for us downstairs."

"All right, let's go. Can you please tell me whether Kendrix ever had a girlfriend before?" Sylvia pulled Claudia's arm and hurriedly dragged her towards the elevator.

As soon as they entered the elevator, Sylvia couldn't help but to continue to press on. "Hurry up and tell me."

"All right, calm down." Claudia looked at Sylvia very seriously. "I'll tell you. He's never dated before, and you're the first girl he's ever loved."

"I remember you told me before, but I always feel that there's a chance he may have hide it from you," Sylvia said.

"Perhaps." Claudia also nodded. "You can't rule out this possibility. Perhaps he dated and did not tell anyone, but you should know that Kendrix is a person who values relationships. If he agreed to be your boyfriend, I think he must have thought it through. You should know how difficult it is for him to agree to be your boyfriend especially considering your age gap."

Sylvia's heart tightened. She felt a little uncomfortable, but she still nodded with a serious expression on her face.

"Therefore, I'm sure you know that he doesn't make a promise. If he still has someone else in his heart, why would he agree to be your boyfriend?" Claudia asked softly.

Sylvia was stunned for a moment, then she thought about it seriously. When she suddenly came to her senses, she burst into laughter.

"You're right! Why didn't I think of this?" Sylvia nodded fiercely and looked at Claudia very seriously. She seemed to have relaxed a lot compared to earlier. "I think you were right about me. I'm afraid to lose him."

Claudia looked at Sylvia's much livelier expression and was speechless. Earlier, Sylvia looked depressed as she was annoyed with herself. Claudia found her amusing and adorable at the same time.

"I must be a pain in the arse. I can't believe that I let it bother me! I hate myself being like this too. I'm already in a bad mood even before I find out the truth," Sylvia said in a low voice. "I really dislike myself being like this."

Claudia was speechless as she heard Sylvia cursing herself. She actually knew how to reflect on her own behaviors.

"Fortunately, you're not hopeless."

Sylvia looked at Claudia with an embarrassed smile. "I also hate myself for becoming so pretentious. That's exactly what I don't like to see in others."

"It's all right. Since you realized it, it means you're not pretentious," Claudia said, "It's Kendrix who did not give you enough sense of security. It is understandable. You don't have to blame yourself. Tell me, who is not pretentious when it comes to being in love?"

"Kendrix will definitely hate me now." Sylvia was even more annoyed at thought of it.

"No, he won't. All you have to do is to go back and apologize to him sincerely. I'm sure he won't mind. If he does, then I guess he doesn't deserve your love." Claudia comforted Sylvia.

Sylvia nodded and looked at Claudia seriously. "Claudia, thanks for reminding me."

"There's no need to thank me." Claudia did not take credit for it. "Luckily you came down with me in time, you've had the time to reflect on your actions. If you and Kendrix stayed upstairs on your own, I'm sure all of your rational thoughts would have gone out the window."

Sylvia was stunned.
