Karen gnashed her teeth in hatred upon seeing the inside of the house.

The thought of Silas stopped her from entering in the end. He was being watched anyway, so he would not die.

"Plus, I have that man in the palm of my hand. Once I get my hands on the evidence, I’ll go to Crawford Manor first thing in the morning. Then, I’ll get that man to come clean.”

Old Master Mallory looked at the butler.

Old Master Mallory did not think Karen would find evidence against Luke because if he really was the one who did it, he would not have left a trail. Did she really think that everyone was as foolish as her son?
