“Long time no see. You sure have changed a lot.” Marlene extended her hand toward Yvette. 

Yvette didn’t shake it. Instead, she smiled politely. “You didn’t.”

She had joined the Lane family before Yvette. When Yvette had just gotten engaged to Xavier, Marlene had always found her and chatted with her. It had seemed like she had been a sister to Yvette.
