Unbreakable Love His Passion for Her Transcends Death novel Chapter 388

Yvette didn't know that Xavier was enduring the humiliation. He knew more than anyone else that many people wanted him dead now that he was blind. He shouldn't care about his dignity at that moment.

"Thank you." She sat down and brought him a piece of cake as well. "You should have some too."

Jeremiah watched as they had some cake together. Then, his warm gaze suddenly turned cold.

When Jackie approached him, she noticed Yvette and Xavier in the corner right away as well. They were humiliated earlier, but they didn't seem to care at all. Instead, they were both in their own little world.

Jackie looked at Yvette and noticed how beautiful she really was. Every move she made looked elegant, and her eyes looked clear. It finally made sense to Jackie why Xavier was unwilling to get a divorce.

Meanwhile, Clifford was lecturing Shannon in the study about how she'd lied to everyone and made Jeremiah impersonate Xavier.

Shannon couldn't refute it at all, so she endured it. They only left the room when Luther came to call them.

Clifford walked out with his cane. When he saw that Yvette was there as well, he didn't say anything about it. He told everyone to start eating and praying.

At that moment, Shannon heard from a maid that Noah had arrived. "It's cold now, so let the kid rest first. Get him something delicious to eat too." The maid nodded and took Noah to a room.

As they walked, he looked at the luxurious buildings around him. "Where's Mrs. Lane?"

"She's busy today, so she told me to let you rest in a room for now. She'll be here to see you once she's free," said the maid.

"Thank you," Noah answered obediently.

"You sure are sweet." He instantly captured the maid's heart when she saw how cute and sensible he was.

Yvette still didn't know Noah had secretly taken a cab and arrived at the mansion. She was about to have dinner with Xavier. Then, she would head home after she was done with everything.

However, Clifford unexpectedly told them to stay after they were done eating. "You two should stay here for the night. I've heard that you're pregnant now. Is that true?" he asked Yvette.
