Yvette was in Xavier's embrace when she woke up. When she looked around and didn't see Noah, she was confused.
Her little movements also woke Xavier, and he pulled her back into his embrace. "Good morning."
"Where's Noah?" she asked.
"There wasn't enough space here, so I took him to the guest bedroom," he said nonchalantly.
Yvette looked at the huge bed that was more than six feet wide, thinking there was plenty of space. Just as she was prepared to get up, Xavier tightened his grip around her waist.
Then, he gulped a little. "Let's sleep a little while longer."
Since Yvette was wearing a thin layer of pajamas, they could feel each other's body temperature when they were so close to each other.
"No, I can't sleep anymore." She reached out to take his hands off, but he grabbed her hands instead.
"Be good," he whispered next to her ear. Yvette couldn't help shuddering when she heard his attractive voice and felt his warm breath.
She looked up at his dashing face as the sunlight shone on it. It seemed like he was glowing. Her gaze unknowingly fell on his lips, and she couldn't believe how close they were at that moment.
As she was in a daze, Xavier lowered his head and kissed her forehead. Then, he caressed her palm. "I don't feel so well, Yvvy."
Yvette was stunned. "What's wrong?"
Xavier grabbed her hand and moved it downward, and she instantly blushed.
"You pervert—" Before she could finish her words, the phone rang on the bedside table. She wanted to grab the phone, so she bit Xavier's arm. He finally let her go with a deep groan. When Yvette grabbed her phone, she noticed it was Shannon calling.
She didn't want to answer it, but considering that she was starting fresh with Xavier, she still picked it up in the end.
