Gemma couldn't hide the disappointment in her eyes when she heard that. "Maybe she died a long time ago."

Hazel comforted her. "Since we can't find the child, I'm sure she's still alive out there. So, don't give up. I'll contact you immediately if I receive any news."

Gemma nodded. "Sure."
