Nolan heard the secretary say that Mr. James was looking for him, and he was reminded that Mr. James was in a bad mood.
Nolan didn't believe it because he thought that Mr. James could not be in a bad mood since Miss Kara was here.
He didn't want to disturb Mr. James and Miss Kara. He strolled out of the office and found that the door was open, which made him have a bad feeling.
"Mr. James, what's the order?"
Nolan entered the office and saw a woman sitting on the sofa. He only saw the top of the woman's head, which was wine-red wavy hair, not Kara.
Nolan had a bad premonition.
James was holding a document in his hand. He glanced at Nolan with his look dark and cold.
A document hit Nolan who did not dare to hide.
The document hit his feet, but he dared not pick it up.
Since the door of the office was opened, everyone outside the office could hear it. They dared not speak again, hoping that the next person to be called in was not themselves.
"I asked you to modify this document three times, but look at the result! Nolan, if you don't want to work anymore, you can get your salary and leave!"
"Sorry, President."
Nolan looked at the document, not knowing what it was, but he didn't dare to retort.
"Get me the person in charge of this department."
Nolan blinked in confusion. He confirmed that this was a document from the sales department, which was charged by Emily. The two usually didn't interfere with each other. Why would James want to see her?
"Don't you get out?"
Nolan looked up at him and tried to figure out what he meant.
Mr. James might not be looking for the people from the sales department, but for Kara.
Kathleen, who was sitting on the sofa, also turned pale when she heard James get angry. She sat down obediently, not daring to speak.
They were going to take the engagement photos in the afternoon, but she deliberately came early to have lunch with him.
But now, let alone eating, she couldn't even drink water.
Nolan left the office and immediately called Mason. Knowing that Kara had entered the building, he called the front desk to confirm that a Miss Quain had entered and was led in.
"Is Kara lost?" Nolan wondered.
"When did the SA Group hire a middle school student as a cleaner?" At this time, two colleagues came out of the tea room.
"Yes, I saw her too. She knelt on the ground and wiped the floor without a uniform of cleaner. She looked quite pitiful."
Nolan frowned and went back to his desk to turn on his computer. He played the video of the hall on the first floor and saw Kara squatting on the ground wiping the floor.
Instantly, his scalp went numb.
If Mr. James saw this, he would really die!
"Why are you still here?"
When James walked out of the office, he bumped into the flustered Nolan.
His sharp gaze swept behind him. When he saw the familiar person in the video, he narrowed his cold eyes.
"Nolan!"
"President, I..."
Seeing James running to take the elevator, Nolan felt a sharp pain because of fear.
Not daring to delay for a moment, he quickly followed.
When James arrived at the hall on the first floor, he saw Kara in a sorry state from afar. She lowered her head and wiped the floor. People who passed by glanced at her and stepped on the place where she had just cleaned.
She wrinkled her little face, wanting to let those avoid the floor with rice.
However, there was a woman who despised her for being too dirty and told her to get away.
"Where did this little beggar come from? Do you dare to command me? I will go wherever I want to go!"
"Why are you so unreasonable? I was just worried that your shoes would be stained with rice." Kara retorted.
