Kara ran back to her room in wrath, feeling that James was too polite.
He hadn't even proposed to her, yet he had made her his wife for no reason.
The engagement party was a joke. So was the signing ceremony of the marriage contract.
Damn it!
Seeing the little girl leave in a fit of madness, James frowned slightly, feeling unhappy himself.
"Does she feel so unhappy to marry me?" wondered he.
When it was dinner time, Libby went upstairs to call them, only to find James and Kara were in a bad mood. It perplexed Libby a lot.
They both put on a face on the first day of their marriage!
"Mrs. Hemming, these are the dishes that you like. Help yourself!" Libby stood by the table and felt worried.
James rarely spoke and had no interest in explaining in some cases. He was not a person easy to get along with.
As a meticulous person, Kara felt somewhat unconfident in front of James.
Moreover, she wasn't talkative. Judging from her sullen expression, obviously, Kara was angered by James.
Libby was worried about whether they could live happily together.
Hearing Libby's words, Kara cleared up a little.
"Libby, you are a good cook. I like these dishes!" Kara smiled.
"I'm glad to hear that." Libby felt happy when she saw Kara smiled.
When James saw Kara chatting and laughing with Libby while cold-shouldering him, he was dark-faced.
"Little fool, you should dare to be angry with me. I'll teach you a lesson!" James thought to himself.
"Libby, this one is salty. That one is insipid. Take them away!"
Kara raised her head to look at the dishes that the man pointed at. Both were to her taste. Kara glared at him angrily.
"I think they're yummy. Libby, you don't have to take them away."
Libby stared at them, not knowing what to do.
"Libby, who is your boss?" James glanced at Libby with his brown eyes being cold.
Libby was helpless and did as he asked quickly.
"OK, I'll remove it now!"
Kara reached out, trying to stop Libby, but Libby shrugged at her helplessly.
As she was paid by James, she had to listen to his order.
Kara bit her lower lip angrily and scolded, "James, you are being unreasonable."
"Really? James sneered and ate his meal calmly.
As James was a well-bred and handsome man, elegance was captured in his behavior.
Watching him eating was pleasing to the eye, but at this moment, Kara was so angry that she wanted to hit him.
"I'm full." Kara put down the fork and stood up.
James shouted coldly, "Stop!
"Libby spent so long a time to cook these dishes. Are you going to waste them?"
Kara pursed her lips, trying to suppress her anger, and sat down.
Kara ate half of the food on the table as if venting her anger.
Finishing her meals, she didn't say a word with him and turned around to go upstairs.
Kara picked up her phone and saw a WeChat message from Arya when she went back to her bedroom.
She placed Arya's account on the top to see her message in time.
"I have many classes these days. How about you?"
Kara bit her finger and reclined on the couch, throwing a voice call to her. She told Arya about the marriage.
"What? Mr. James signed a marriage agreement with you? That is almost the same as getting a marriage certificate!"
Arya was surprised.
"Yes, I was surprised too. I thought that James had someone he loved. I was angry for a while, and when I came out of his office, he told me about it!"
Kara complained.
"Are you happy?"
Kara twitched her mouth as Arya didn't get what she wanted to express.
"Wow, Mr. James is awesome!" Arya sighed for a while before asking her seriously.
"Did James say he loves you?"
"No!" This was what Kara was most angry about.
