Chapter 62 Should Expose Him?

Annalise ran faster.

Julian sped up again. Similarly, Annalise sped up.

When he reached the other bridge, Julian suddenly stopped. He stood on the bridge with his hands cupped around his lips and he shouted at the river, “Ah-”

After shouting, he turned to smile at Annalise. “Come on, shout!”

He knew that she was in a bad mood today. She would feel much better if she let it all out. She could also take the chance to say goodbye to her past.

Annalise was already sweating profusely from running and a ball of fire had been accumulating inside her, so she shouted toward the river as she stood on the bridge, “Ahhh-Get lost! Get lost, all of you!”

After shouting, she immediately felt much better.

She exhaled and looked at Julian. “Are we going back?”

“Yes,” Julian replied.

The two of them walked back.

The journey was silent, but the atmosphere was very natural and not awkward at all.
