Unrivaled Dragon Lord novel Chapter 96

Dous turned his head and saw a man who had somehow appeared beside him. The man was leaning against the office wall, with his head down and lit a cigarette.

The man slowly exhaled a puff of smoke and looked over at Dous. His deep eyes were fixed meaningfully on Dous.

"Who are you? Someone come and get this man out of here!" Dous stood up and shouted at outside.

"You are calling your losers? Do you think they'll respond to you?" Maxwell puffed the cigarette and smiled faintly.

"Who are you? What did you do to them?" said Dous sharply, his face hardening.

"They were so sleepy, so I let them sleep for a while." Maxwell said dryly.

"When did you get in, and who are you?" Dous waved his hand and let the secretary out and closed the door.

Maxwell chuckled, sat down across from Dous's desk, and stared at him with a deep, interested stare. "Mr. Lloyd, you are so busy that you forgot who we are after you troubled us."

"It's you..." Dous thought Maxwell was familiar. He took a close look at Maxwell and suddenly remembered who he was.

"Aren't you flirting with Ms. Greta? Why did you have time to come to me?" Dous was relieved to find out who Maxwell was, and sneered.

"Ms. Greta and I have some issues with your news and would like to discuss it with you and make some corrections." Maxwell looked calm and spoke indifferently.

"There's nothing to discuss," said Dous with a sneer and he waved his hand. "Go back and tell Ms. Greta that my news is accurate, that there is no false rumor and that it does not need to be corrected."

Maxwell narrowed his eyes, "You decline me so readily? Are you sure you are not going to think it twice?"

"Why? My paparazzi have already photographed you and Ms. Greta being together, but I've been taking into account Ms. Greta's reputation, so I didn't release the pictures, but that doesn't mean I don't make money, "Dous said leisurely, "I'm a businessman, and I'll deal with anyone who offers a higher price."

"I see. It seems that Mr. Andreas made you a very good offer." Maxwell understood what he meant.

"It's not just the money. The most important thing is he is the second master of the Sandoval family in Beijing. If I don't help him, I might offend him." Dous refuted with a smile.

"If you don't publish it, I'll pay you twice as much as Mr. Andreas." Maxwell thought for a moment, then spoke slowly.

"The price is not the problem. The problem is that you are not Mr. Andreas," Dous waved his hand impatiently, "Go away. There's nothing to discuss."

Maxwell frowned, and his eyes got cold. "Mr. Lloyd, you can propose any terms. But you'd better not to refuse my advice."

Dous stared at Maxwell for a moment, then laughed, "Who are you? Do you think you're Mr. Andreas? Get out of here, or else I'll let the whole China know about your affairs."

Dous didn't take Maxwell seriously, even though Maxwell's offer was generous. In Dous's eyes, Maxwell's identity and status were far inferior to Mr. Andreas's. So why did he want to be friendly with such a person?

In Dous's opinion, Maxwell was just one of Greta's flunkies. Naturally, Dous would not listen to what a flunky said.

Dous grew increasingly impatient. Finally, Maxwell's eyes were cold. "Mr. Lloyd, it's your choice."

"What's wrong with the choice I made? It's none of your business! What can you do to me?" Dous wrapped his arms around his chest and snapped, "You are nothing compared to Mr. Andreas. Why should I listen to you?"

"Indeed, but you'll regret it in a minute." Maxwell said calmly and sarcastically.

Dous seemed stung by Maxwell's remark and laughed. "Well, I'll wait for one minute. I'll see who will feel regretful!"

"Shit! I've got so much information about you and Greta. Any photo would send you into gossip! What qualities do you have to argue with me?" Dous took out a USB flash drive from the drawer and said proudly, "You are all under the control of my paparazzi. I advise you to apologize to me at once. Otherwise, I'll ruin Greta's reputation in a minute!"

Dous was proud and confident. The USB flash drive was enough to destroy Maxwell and Greta and drive them out of Ocean City.

Maxwell took out his phone, sent a text message, and then calmly looked at Dous.

"Ten, nine, eight..." Soon Maxwell began to count the time, and Dous's face grew more and more sullen.

‘Shit. How could a man be so shameless?'

"Well, that's what you sought." Dous sneered and was ready to insert the USB flash drive into the computer. But suddenly, the phone suddenly rang.

Dous picked up the phone, and his complexion changed!

"No, it can't be." Dous kept shaking his head, looking shocked.

Dous trembled. The news shook him as strongly as the sudden announcement of bankruptcy by a company in the height of its glory.

Dous was trembling fiercely, and he couldn't believe it.
