Unveiling The Genius Behind The Divorce novel Chapter 94

Chapter 94 Love at First Sight With Aylin

Waylon spoke very charmingly.

It’s not about having lunch with him, but rather, using his grandpa’s reputation as a guise.

Indeed, Aylin was annoyed by Waylon’s affluent play boy appearance.

But they still held great respect for Wesley.

The two families had some business dealings, and she had met Wesley before. He was quite an amiable and approachable old rascal, so she didn’t want to embarrass the elder by refusing.

After a brief moment of contemplation, Aylin turned to Robert and gently asked, “Robert, he mentioned Old Mr. Kline. What do you think about this?”

After all, it’s Robert’s welcome party, so in the end, it’s up to him.

Robert waved his hand nonchalantly, laughing unrestrainedly, “What’s wrong with that? This kid is Wesley’s grandson, after all. It’s only proper to observe the etiquette. Go ahead.”

Although Robert really wanted to spend some alone time with Aylin and share their innermost

feelings, he wasn’t in a hurry.

Anyway, he has returned to his country now, so he will have plenty of time to listen to Aylin’s

stories in the future.

Moreover, the Kline family is among the most prominent in New York. The fact that distinguished

elders want to meet his sister only serves to prove that Aylin’s business acumen is truly

extraordinary.

He didn’t even have time to feel proud.

How could one fuss over such trivial details?

The two were immediately led by Waylon to meet Wesley, leaving the onlookers exchanging

glances with one another.

So, this person is actually the owner of the restaurant!

No wonder she was so bold and carefree, as if she had returned home. This place was indeed owned

by her family. For a moment, all the whispers and discussions ceased.

Upon seeing Wesley, Robert, and Aylin, they all laughed in unison.

“Hi, Old Mr. Kline.”

Wesley recognized Robert and said with a smile, “Isn’t this Mr. Robert from the Gardner family? I remember you went abroad a couple of years ago. What brings you back all of a sudden?”

Robert is still very gentle and polite towards his elders.

“Do you remember me? I’m truly fortunate. I went abroad to clear my mind a few years ago, and now it seems like the right time to return to my homeland. After all, one must not forget their

roots.”

Wesley stroked his beard, feeling quite fond of this impressive young man. “Not bad, not bad at

all.”

And then, his gaze fell upon Aylin.

Wesley didn’t quite recognize Aylin, but as he looked at her beautiful and captivating eyes, he vaguely felt that he had seen her somewhere before.

He hesitated and asked, “Who is this young lady?”

Waylon, grinning, chimed in, “Grandpa, why don’t you take a guess first?”

Aylin smiled charmingly.

Upon hearing this, Wesley laughed and said, “This young lady is indeed quite beautiful. She looks familiar, but I just can’t recall her name. How strange.”

As they spoke, the group arrived at the private room.

Aylin casually poured a cup of tea for Wesley, her beautiful eyes slightly curved, “Old Mr. Kline, you have sharp ears and bright eyes, you’re not old at all. It’s only natural that you don’t recognize me, as you’ve only met my parents at the Carter family’s spring banquet five years ago, but you haven’t

seen me before.”

She gave Wesley a slight nod.

“My name is Aylin Koch, you can just call me Aylin.”

Upon mentioning the grand banquet and her surname, Wesley immediately recalled the event and laughed in sudden realization.

Oh, so you’re the daughter of the Koch family! Your father has kept you well hidden, not even

letting me meet you.

She truly is a rare individual.

It could be said that since childhood, almost all of their time was spent at home.

Aylin didn’t say much, but smiled gently, “Good things take time. I was young and naive back then,

and my father was afraid I might offend you. But now, haven’t you met me?”

This statement was expressed appropriately.

Wesley laughed cheerfully, “You’re being too modest, young lady. There aren’t many in New York as charming and polite as you. You’d never offend an old man like me. I spent my younger years hoping and praying for a granddaughter as well-behaved and sensible as you. But who would have thought, I ended up with this little rascal!”

As he spoke, he fiercely slapped Waylon.

Waylon was speechless.

Can this also be caught in the crossfire?

Dissatisfied, Waylon immediately complained, “What’s wrong with you, you little brat? Grandpa is really biased. As soon as he sees Ms. Koch from the Koch family, he immediately forgets about me, his grandson. I’m just too pitiful!”

Everyone was amused by Waylon’s antics, and the atmosphere instantly became lively.
