Chapter 101 Recognizing and Correcting Mistakes
“Wake up,
wake up! It seems Old Mr. Kline is awake!” someone exclaimed.
After completing five cycles, Aylin was only slightly out of breath. She meticulously checked Wesley’s lips, facial color, and nail beds without missing a single detail.
Upon noticing that everything gradually turned rosy, they finally relaxed completely.
Thankfully, just as she had anticipated, she remained conscious for five rounds.
Before Wesley fainted, the last thing he saw was the bright ceiling above him. When he woke up, he was greeted by Aylin’s relieved and contented face.
“Aylin, is that you…”
Wesley’s weak voice couldn’t produce a complete tone, but Aylin stopped his hand and calmly comforted him, “Don’t speak yet, just focus on steadying your breath.”
The entire room was astonished, and even Harold was taken aback. This Ms. Koch truly possessed
remarkable skills!
“Oh my goodness, she actually knows medical skills…”
“How else could they be so confident!”
“Hey, hey, make way, the paramedics are here! Please don’t block the way!”
The manager shouted loudly, and immediately several doctors and nurses rushed in with their emergency kits in hand.
“The patient needs emergency care, everyone please step back a bit… Huh?”
Medical staff were somewhat puzzled, as it wasn’t a sudden illness that caused the unresponsiveness.
How could this be…
Aylin called out to Robert, who quickly joined a now-focused Waylon. Together, they each took a side and helped Wesley onto the stretcher.
The nurse efficiently provided Wesley with oxygen, while Aylin found the lead doctor and briefly described the patient’s condition.
“The patient has a history of heart-related diseases, likely an issue with the arteries, and underwent byp as s surgery a few years ago. Although they regained consciousness after CPR, there’s still a possibility of blood clots within the body… Further examination and treatment from you all are needed.”
The doctor initially thought Aylin was just a family member accompanying the patient. However, upon listening more closely, he realized that her choice of words was professional and
well-organized, making her seem more like a colleague.
He observed Wesley’s complexion and nodded in approval. “We understand the situation you described. Thankfully, the rescue was finely. The golden window for CPR is just a few short minutes. If it had been any later, the consequences would have been unimaginable.”
Robert crossed his arms and scoffed, giving Waylon a sidelong glance. “Open your ears wide, did you hear me clearly? My sister’s rescue was very timely! Hmph, you really don’t know how to appreciate kindness!”
Waylon scratched the back of his neck in frustration, “I was just so panicked at the time…”
At this moment, he listened to Aylin describing Wesley’s illness, word by word, sentence by sentence, hitting the nail on the head, and he was truly impressed.
Waylon was not an ungrateful person. Realizing his mistake, he immediately apologized, “I’m sorry for my earlier outburst. The situation was urgent, and I spoke impulsively without thinking. It was my fault, and I apologize.”
Robert glanced away, clearly unconvinced. “Hmph, it’s easy to say anything with just your mouth.”
The doctor nearby finally understood. It turned out that this stunningly beautiful and delicate girl before him was actually the one who saved lives?
