Rudolph Sy was pacing back and forth in his study with a stormy expression on his face.
It's been days now and his men still weren't able to contact the men he sent to his older half brother, Rawlf Sy.
"Rawlf Sy." He uttered, gritting his teeth in suppressed anger.
"Just because that man is the eldest and the son in marriage doesn't mean he's already legitimate to take everything!"
He screamed and as if not satisfied, threw the glass of wine he's been holding on the wall.
The sound of shattering glass was heard from outside and Rudolph instantly heard the hurried footsteps from the outside and soon, the knocking.
"Young master Rudolph, is everything alright?!" Came in the worried voice of one of the mansion's servants.
Rudolph's already ugly expression turned uglier. "Scram!" He shouted.
The servant right after being shouted upon instantly ran off afraid to be the receiving end of the young master's wrath.
Well, it's no normal day if none of the mansion servants would receive a blow, a beating or a good shouting from either the young master or the madam.
The mother and son pair were known to be ruthless employers but mostly, the servants who decided to stay and bear with it chose the high salary over their own dignity and well-being.
After all, the world is ruled by the wealthy and powerful and everywhere, life is full of injustice.
Allia Meng was sophisticatedly walking her way inside the mansion when she saw one of the servant's expressions.
She raised her eyebrow and stopped the servant on her hurried track. "What happened?"
The servant instantly bowed her head after hearing the madame's cold voice. "This madame, I.. I….."
"Say it clearly you idiot!" Impatient, Allia Meng screamed, her contorted face the very opposite of her graceful socialite facade.
"I... I was cleaning the hallway across young master's Rudolph's room when I heard the sound of shattered glass madame. I knocked and asked if everything's alright " The servant paused,
indecisive if she should tell the madam of the young master's reply. In the mansion, whoever is at fault, the madame wouldn't take it lightly if it concerns her only son, Rudolph Sy.
A Sy that she produced through hard work! "Pak!"
