Rudolph Sy was pacing back in fourth out of frustration. He was also unceasingly smoking.
For the past few days, his company had been suffering from an attack and unfortunately, if not because of his maternal cousin, who happens to be the vice-president of Ming Corporation, the company would have surely faced bankruptcy.
If only Rudolph Sy was capable enough to lead an old company like Ming Corporation, the attacks couldn't really have done worst but because of his mishandling, misappropriation of budget and all kinds of 'miss', it won't be too long for the Ming Clan to lose their ancestral earned legacy, the Ming Corporation.
On the other side, in the ancestral house of the Ming, Allia Ming is in a big fight not only with her father but with the rest of the Ming elders.
Allia Ming felt aggrieved. After exhausting all reasons as to why her son, Rudolph shouldn't be removed in his position, she could only resort to reminding her family of the benefits she and her son once brought to the Ming Clan when she was still with Robert Sy. Actually, she and Robert Sy never had been together or lived together under one roof, it's just that her continued threats using Rudolph that she was able to gain benefits from Robert Sy and the Sy Corporation. All throughout the years of Allia Ming's "hard-earned" by her son's corporation, in reality, if not because of the Sy Corporation and if not because of her older brother's son as the
vice-president, the business circle could have long turned its back from Ming Corporation.
The old master Ming's face changed slightly after hearing this 'reminder' from his own daughter yet he needed to calm himself and could only stand by her side.
Even knowing the incapability of his own grandson, the old master Ming must turn a blind eye because after all, indeed, his grandson is a Sy.
He knew that he was taking a huge risk but this huge risk also could give them huge benefits. If only the old master Ming knew that this decision would later lead to the fall-out of the company he so loved and worked hard to maintain, he should have abandoned his sense of gratefulness towards his daughter and grandson.
On the other side at Sy International, Rawlf was sitting calmly while waiting for the man opposite him to finish reading a copy of his contract. All throughout, the man shows no sign of emotional expression. After some minutes, the man finally put down the contract and looked at the man in front of him. Rawlf Sy, the most powerful figure in Country P is offering him a big deal where he is the party that could gain more benefits.
"I didn't expect that President Sy would offer this lowly person a deal where he could gain more. This scares this lowly person as to what the powerful President Sy's motive is?" The man speaks directly yet clothed with a euphemism.
"Vice-President Joshua Ming sounds tacky. President Joshua Ming sounds better." Rawlf replied.
The temptation is apparent.
Joshua Ming smirks. "President Sy must be joking. Meng Corporation is worth nothing to me."
"All throughout the attack, if not because of its capable vice-president, Ming Corporation should have long turned into ashes. Or maybe this President has guessed wrong considering the capability of its vice-president, the weak, provocative attack shouldn't have even done much damage."
Rawlf paused and continued in a slow manner, "Unless someone intentionally stood back."
Joshua Ming glanced once at the man sitting in front of him. Then he turned his line of sight to the transparent glass window with the panoramic view of City I.
"It seems that President Sy did his research well. Although without President Sy's help it won't be long for this lowly person to take Ming Corporation soon. However, this lowly servant also doesn't want to make an enemy of the President."
Joshua Ming picked up his glass of scotch on the table and sipped from it slowly. "Deal."
Rawlf smirks and the two men shake their hands. One is known to be very powerful. While the other whose power is yet to be known.
