Chapter 1069
Elliot’s words were merely a comfort to himself.
Sheena, completely devoid of consciousness during her outburst, could not possibly respond to him in any way.
After much deliberation, he decided to risk it and said, “Honey, I won’t undo your handcuffs, but I’ll remove the towel from your mouth. You can take a bite out of me to vent your frustrations, and it won’t count as breaking the rules.”
He contemplated which part of his body was least noticeable if left with bite marks.
Eventually, he settled on the soft flesh under his arm.
With careful consideration, he approached Sheena again and reached out to remove the towel from her mouth. However, as soon as he took off the towel, his attention
was drawn to a line of text on it.
It read, [How dare you take the towel out of my mouth! Elliot, you’ll be in big trouble when I regain my senses tomorrow! Hurry up and put it back in! You’ve got some. nerve, trying to let me bite you to vent my anger. If I find any bite marks on you tomorrow, you’re done for! I’ll disappear to a place you’ll never find, and you’ll never see me again!]
Elliot was speechless.
Sheena seemed to have calculated his every move.
Deflated, he sat on the edge of the bed, watching helplessly and anxiously,
wondering what he could possibly do to help.
As the bloodstains on Sheena’s once fair wrists and ankles became increasingly obvious and terrifying, Elliot could not bear it any longer.
He reluctantly took out a powerful sedative and, in order to ease Sheena’s pain, injected it into her arm, gently pushing the medication in.
As the entire vial of powerful sedative emptied, Sheena’s struggles grew weaker and weaker until she finally fell into a calm state.
Defeated yet heartbroken, Elliot gently caressed her face, wishing he could bear all her suffering for her.
After a brief moment of sadness, he skillfully and quickly found the key to the
handcuffs and ankle restraints in the bedside drawer.
Sheena had placed it there in advance, thinking he was unaware.
However, Elliot knew she had always had the habit of putting small keys under the lamp or in the drawer.
After releasing her from her restraints, he wrapped one arm around her knees and the other tightly around her shoulders, swiftly carrying her downstairs to the garage
and driving to the lab for her IV drip infusion.
Howard’s mansion.
In the study.
Time always seemed to pass by especially quickly when one was focused and
concentrated.
Phoebe felt as if half an hour had flown by just like that, and she had only managed
to read half of the material when he walked in to check on her progress.
With a hint of hopefulness, she accepted Howard’s formal quiz.
Observing Phoebe’s nervous little gestures, Howard decided not to push her too hard and opted for a relatively simple English Literature question.
“How did Huck Finn escape his father?”
“Huh?” Phoebe was caught off guard. “Mr. Howard, I haven’t had a chance to study
English Literature tonight. Can we do History instead?”

The readers' comments on the novel: Wait, She’s a Billionaire (Sheena Lawson)
The novel is too abusive it spoils the joy of reading it. I hate the punishment part between sheena and Eliot....
