Ben signaled Elijah with his eyes. "Aren't you following them? Maybe they're going to have some fun."
"Your mouth should be sewn shut," Elijah retorted coldly, but he had already stood up and left.
Ben watched his departing figure, and his lips curved into a smile for once.
He took a photo of Elijah's back and sent it to Imogen.
After reviewing the entire auction's proceedings in the "live broadcast" he had sent to Imogen, he felt nothing was missing, so he put his phone away.

Ben paused and then opened the social media app with a hint of eagerness. When he saw the bright red "Circle 1" on Imogen's profile picture, joy surged within him.
