Elijah glanced at Ben in disbelief.
Ben's gaze was gloomy as he pushed the gold-rimmed glasses resting on the bridge of his nose. "Why don't you call and ask Eason if she's Cordelia?"
"But I don't want to contact him," Elijah said indifferently.
Although he had voluntarily given up everything in the Hansen family and allowed that family to decay, he had never admitted defeat against Eason.
It would be odd for him to initiate a phone call to inquire.
Ben smiled faintly. "Then I don't care about you. I'm going to catch Imogen!"
Saying that, Ben had already gotten up and was ready to leave.
And Kelly, who was on the side, whispered, "He's not even willing to make a phone call when he can figure it out with it. It seems like Elijah doesn't care much about his ex-wife!"
She thought, "Hmph. Looks like I still have a good chance. I'll keep it up!"
After saying that, Kelly hurriedly followed Ben and left, not forgetting to turn back and look at Elijah again as she was leaving.
Kelly murmured, "Such a wonderful man, wealthy and handsome. And he can make me famous. I must get him!" Suddenly, Ben's voice came from behind her. "I advise you not to have any illusions about Elijah. Otherwise, I can't cover you either."
Kelly was startled and said defiantly, "Ben, what's so great about that woman? Old and unfriendly."
Ben smiled slightly. "She is great. Don't you dare offend her?"
Kelly didn't take Ben's words to heart, thinking, "I'm so young. How can I not defeat an old woman? Hmph! I don't believe it!"
Imogen had just finished a ballet brilliantly.
After the perfect curtain call, she received a bouquet.
She was helpless when she saw the familiar script and signature on the card, thinking, "Well, he found me! I knew this asshole wouldn't stop."
However, in the past two years, she had earned a lot of money following Cordelia, making her family and herself well off, and both babies were healthy.
