We Will Collide Someday by Scarlett Sanchez novel Chapter 421

Chapter 421 Do You Love Me or Pity Me?

"Well, I think so."

Even if Finley was joking, he always had a serious look on his face. The more Thalia looked at him, the more she adored him.

Taking advantage of the last ten seconds of red light, she leaned towards Finley's eyes with a smile on her lips.

Finley got prepared to be kissed, and he even intended to respond to the kiss.

But before Thalia touched his eyes, she suddenly returned to her seat with a serious expression.

"What are you thinking about, Dr. McMillan? Concentrate on driving," she whispered.

Finley came back to his senses and saw the green light.

He cleared his throat and pretended as if nothing had happened. He forced himself to calm down and continued driving.

"Don't look at me."

"Why?" Thalia asked innocently. "Don't you want me to look at you? Then who do you want to look at you?"

"I didn't mean that..."

"Dr. McMillan, your ears are so red. Is it hot in the car?" she asked despite the obvious answer.

"No..."

Finley gripped the steering wheel even tighter, obviously nervous, road condition.

Thalia stopped teasing him and began to chat with Alexa on the phone.

Alexa was sorting out the documents with Terrence in the study. When she learned that Thalia and Finley would get married, she was not surprised.

"They love each other. It is only a matter of time before they get married."

Alexa happily told the news to Christina.

Christina immediately sent 5% of the Duran Group shares to Thalia.

"My mother really treats Thalia as her daughter-in-law."

"It's a good thing." Terrence nodded in agreement. "Finley is a good man.

Thalia will be happy with him."

"You have closely observed Finley, haven't you?" Alexa suddenly came to her senses. "When did you become so familiar?"

"Not exactly. I just pay attention to the people around you."

"Oh really?"

Alexa suddenly became interested.

"Then how do you like me in your heart?"

"I can't say it in simple words," Terrence said sincerely. "I have to answer it slowly."

"I find that you are better and better at manipulating me."

Alexa stretched out a finger and poked his chest.

"You know that I like to listen to this kind of sweet talk. Have you ever studied it?"

"Study?" Terrence took the opportunity to hold her fingers. "Do I need to study how to love my wife?"

"Mr. Ramsey, I'm quite satisfied."

Alexa looked at the pile of documents in front of Terrence.

"Are there so many things to deal with in the company?" Alexa asked in surprise. "I have never seen you deal with so many documents before."

"Well, these aren't the company’s documents."

Terrence brought another stack.

"It's information about the kindergartens." He said slowly, "In another year, Damar will go to kindergarten."

"There's still plenty of time." Alexa was even more shocked. "There are many good kindergartens in New York. Can't we just choose one when the time comes?"

"We have to prepare early," Terrence said expectantly, "What's more, this will be the first time Damar has his own social circle. I am looking forward to his growth."

Alexa nodded thoughtfully. She stroked her belly and muttered.

"What if we have a little daughter in the future?"

Her joke caused Terrence's expression to become even more serious.

"I have drawn a complete investment plan. The Hudson Group will allocate special funds for the kindergarten construction."

Alexa gasped, "Actually... There's no need to do so."

"There is."

Terrence said confidently and then continued to study the information about the kindergartens.

Alexa was looking at the material of the lawsuit sent by Sasha.
