What Separates Me and You novel Chapter 369

The person who entered the room was none other than Quintin.

He had just finished showering and had changed into a T-shirt and casual pants. He approached Josephine's bed and saw that she was asleep. Hence, he grabbed the blanket and covered her with it.

While covering her, he also noticed the watch on Josephine's wrist.

Frowning, he took the watch and instantly understood what it was when he saw his own face.

It was a VR 360 panoramic camera, a product under Alvarez Corp. The product claimed it could capture a 360-degree angle of the surrounding environment and include the user in the recording.

Quintin knew immediately that this watch was used to record Josephine's daily life due to her condition.

He knew someone was monitoring Josephine behind the watch. However, he didn't take the watch off Josephine's wrist. Instead, he held her hand, gently placed it under the covers, and let her continue sleeping.

Josephine was deep asleep. She was unaware of what he had done.

She had a lot of bizarre dreams about Lewis. Although she couldn't comprehend these dreams, she felt sad for some reason. Tears began streaming down her face.

It felt as if she had lost something important in her dreams.

The silence in the bedroom was unsettling, and no one knew that she had cried in her dreams.

When Josephine woke up the next day, she found her pillow soaked.

Feeling puzzled, she touched the wet pillow but didn't think much of it. She got out of bed and went to the living room, where Quintin was sprawled on the couch, still sound asleep.

Josephine walked up to him and gently poked his cheek.

He slowly opened his eyes and saw her standing before him. He felt dazed, but his mind immediately cleared up when he saw her attire.

This woman only had a thin T-shirt on.

Quintin immediately panicked. He had barely managed to make it through yesterday night, and now she was standing there like this. It made him feel like he was about to explode.

Instinctively, he covered his nose and rolled out of bed to wash his face in the bathroom.

Thankfully, he didn't have a nosebleed this time.

He quickly showered, washed his face, and changed his clothes. When he came out of the bathroom, he saw Josephine eagerly waiting by the door.

She was hungry again.

Quintin sighed and could only fetch her a jacket to wear.

After all, the jacket was thick, and whatever she wore underneath wouldn't be visible.

He zipped up her jacket before grabbing his. "Let's go. I'll take you out for a meal."

Upon hearing the mention of food, Josephine immediately smiled with joy.

She followed Quintin to the buffet restaurant downstairs, where she could pick whatever she liked.

She filled her plate with a large portion of food and sat in front of Quintin. After finishing her meal, she went to get ice cream.

Quintin was amazed by her appetite. He had no idea that Josephine could eat so much.

After the meal, Josephine patted her stomach and eagerly looked at Quintin, waiting for him to give her instructions.

Quintin said, "Since you had so much ice cream, I'll take you to the hot springs."

Josephine didn't understand anyway, so she only nodded in agreement.

He took her for a walk outside to help her digest before leading her to the hot springs at the resort.

There were various types of hot springs available, such as milk baths and rose baths. Quintin naturally chose a private rose bath for Josephine.

He dared not take her to the public baths, so he had to spend extra money to reserve a private hot spring, which was expensive. It costs around seven to eight thousand bucks for one session per person.

The hot spring was located at the foot of the mountain, and there was a small wooden cabin nearby. Guests could help themselves to the various food and drinks prepared inside the cabin. Fresh bathrobes and swimsuits were also provided.

Quintin led her to the cabin, found her a swimsuit, and let her change on her own inside.

Holding the swimsuit, Josephine flipped it back and forth for quite a while but didn't know how to put it on.

There were so many straps and holes.
