Owen's suggestion sat well with Josephine.
The photography team comprised not one but eight smaller teams.
Two of the more popular content creators under the company had more than ten million followers. They each had a specific photography team assigned to them.
The remaining six teams were in charge of around four to five content creators each. The work was both demanding and exhausting.
"Nic, she's a newbie. I'll leave her under your care."
Nicolas Lager was the team leader of Team 3, the team Owen assigned Josephine to. He simply hummed to acknowledge Josephine's presence. Then, he went back to reading his script.
There were 15 people on this team. Although it had few members, it was a complete package of a screenwriter, director, lighting designer, stylist, and so on. However, they were too busy to entertain Josephine.
No one talked to her even after ten minutes. She thought it over and approached Nicolas, "Mr. Lager, is there anything I can do?"
Nicolas glanced at her and answered, "Just wait. We're about to film something soon. You can help move those props over later."
Josephine nodded and waited quietly.
Her team members were as busy as bees.
This team was assigned to one of the two popular content creators, which was a duo. Their content mainly featured romance mini-series with them playing roles as a couple.
Josephine learned more about them as she stood, waiting.
This particular influencer couple started out as rookies here. The department provided them with the resources needed to gain fame. Now that they were popular, they were inclined to leave the company and work on their own.
However, they couldn't leave just like that because of their contract. So they did everything they could to make life hard for everyone within the constraints of their contract.
These influencers were more difficult than celebrities.
Just this month, Lewis invested in two celebrity management companies. Lewis even started an entertainment company under Moss Corporation. Because of that, the said influencer couple wanted to change their contracts. They wanted to sign up as celebrities.
Furthermore, they had the strongest aspirations of achieving what they desired among others. Therefore, they started acting out even before their debut.
Josephine waited approximately an hour before her team got started. She heeded Nicolas' instructions and carried the required props to the van.
The props were heavy. In her condition, she had to stop and gasp for breath every few steps.
The others were way ahead of her. Nicolas looked back and noticed she was lagging. He marched over and scolded her, "Can't you even carry something like this? What are you here for?"
After getting an earful, Josephine felt guilty and apologized, "I'm sorry."
"What the hell was Owen thinking? Can't he see I'm working my ass off? Yet he passed a rookie to me."
Josephine pressed her lips together and heaved the props a bit higher.
Nicolas looked at her in frustration. "Keep up! Put in some effort, or just get the hell out of here!"
With that, Nicolas left.
Pressing her lips together, Josephine followed with the props in her arms. Cold sweat broke out on her forehead. She was physically too weak.
At that moment, the weight in her arms lessened.
"Let me help you."
Stunned, Josephine turned to see a young woman.
She smiled at Josephine. "Let's go."
The woman looked young and was probably in her 20s. She was fair and looked neat. Although she wasn't remarkably pretty, she looked friendly.
"Thank you." Josephine cast her an appreciative glance. They walked toward the parking lot, carrying the props together.
