Pursuing My Ex-Wife Isn’t Easy chapter 1083
Joshua fell into silence upon hearing Luna’s question.
Truth be told, the only connection between him and Fiona since the start was the bone marrow that had been placed in Nigel’s body at this point, but he did not feel like telling the truth to Luna.
He did not want Luna to think he helped Nigel in any way, and he did not want her to leave Banyan City feeling indebted to him or guilt-ridden.
He would rather she left with resentment toward him because this hatred would make her stay away from him, and she would finally be able to start a new life with the children.
“No answer for that?“ Luna sneered, then turned to look outside the window.
She already knew this would be the outcome. Joshua had never been one to face his mistakes,
whether it was six years ago or at this very moment.
The rain continued to pour outside the window, so heavy that the windshield was blurred, and it grew increasingly difficult for the SUV to travel on the road.
Every time the car circled past some fallen trees by the roadside, Luna could not help but feel anxious. She used to be terrified of this kind of weather…but at this moment, she could not care less, as long as she could find Nigel and Nellie and protect them.
After three hours, the cars arrived at the district where Granny Lynch’s hometown was. However, they stopped a few kilometers away from Granny Lynch’s villa.
“Sir, the road in front has been blocked off. The cars can’t possibly go through, so we’ll have to walk.“
Luna furrowed her brows and glanced at the direction ahead of her.
The road ahead of them was submerged with water up to calf level. In addition, there were rocks and tree branches strewn all over, so they had no choice but to continue the journey on foot.
Luna, Joshua, and the rest descended the SUVs. As soon as she got out of the car, Luna caught sight of Fiona’s car parked a short distance away.

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
This just keeps getting worse, is Fiona another Hailey/Aura. Not sick just playing a game to get Joshua. Disappointing, disgusting and despicable. Luna needs to win , Joshua needs to grow a backbone and see through these horrible women. Why should Luna always be the one who is bullied, destroyed, disrespected and dismissed. Terrible. Those kids need both Luna and Joshua....
OMG no!!!! Someone needs to explain clearly to Luna so the bitterness in her heart subsides and she can truly be civil to Joshua so they can get together as a family. Fiona is unreasonable in her request for a superficial relationship, why can’t one character see the hurt that has been caused Luna and be on her side. Not a fan of Fiona and a superficial relationship even if it cures Nigel....
Totally distract over the fact that the author is spinning Luna as the evil Alice/Hailey. Hope this story line doesn’t last long and we can see a loving family Joshua,Luna and kids soon....
She is not his ex wife, they were never divorced and she didn’t die at the hands of Aura or Alice. Alice aka Hailey is an imposter, not his wife!...
