Pursuing My Ex-Wife Isn’t Easy chapter 1061
Meanwhile, Luna and Gwen were hidden inside the room. They tilted their heads and eavesdropped on the conversation happening outside the door.
The color drained from Luna’s face as soon she heard what Joshua said.
As soon as she heard that Joshua had arrived, Luna guessed that Joshua had probably found out she was here and rushed over to talk to her.
Otherwise, he would not have arrived without giving Luke a heads-up, considering how close he and Luke were.
What he had just told Luke, however, was that the reason he came was that Luke had meddled with something that belonged to him.
Luna pressed her lips into a thin line.
It turned out that she was nothing more than an object to Joshua.
“What do you mean by this? What thing of yours did I touch?“ Meanwhile, in the hallway outside the door, Luke gave Joshua an impassive glance and spoke, a cold smirk playing on his lips, “I can’t seem to remember what it is.“
“Is that so? “ Joshua curled his lips into a sneer and fixated his cold, penetrating gaze on the closed door behind Luke. “Do you need me to remind you? A few nights ago, you brought your men to Banyan City and took something from me. Don’t you remember?“
With that, he shifted his icy stare onto Luke. “Luke, you should know that the only reason you’re the person you are today is because of me. Is this how you pay me back for helping you in the past?“
Luke narrowed his eyes upon hearing this but did not say a word.
He knew that since Joshua had come all the way to the hospital, he must have been loo-percent sure that Luna was here.
Yesterday, when Luke showed the X-ray to Joshua, it was actually a form of reminder. However…
Since Gwen was inside the room with Luna, eavesdropping on their conversation, he could not possibly tell Joshua the truth and hand Luna over to him.
Seeing that Luke did not reply, Joshua curled his thin lips into a smirk and said, “Since you don’t know why I’m here, let me tell you what’s been happening, then.

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
