Wendy turned around inimically after saying that. With help from the assistant, she limped her way out of the mansion, leaving Yannie rooted on the spot. She squeezed her brow tightly together as she watched the assistant and Wendy leave the mansion.
Frankly speaking, she should have not waited to mock Wendy, especially when Wendy tried to frame her and got reprimanded by Thomas. As the victim of the case, it was normal for her to demolish Wendy when she so obviously lost.
However, for some reason, when she saw how Thomas reprimanded Wendy harshly, she felt pity for her. Obviously, Thomas did not care about Wendy as much as she thought he did, yet she still acted like she was Thomas‘ partner and wanted to help Thomas get rid of Yannie while she was under the impression that Yannie admired Thomas.
Wendy had been friends with Thomas since three or four years ago, and this was the treatment she had received from him. The more Yannie thought of this, the more she pitied Wendy and loathed that jerk–of–a–man named Thomas.
Yannie wondered why she was foolish in the past and why she was willing to deliver a baby for this jerk. Luckily, nothing strung her to Thomas at present. Otherwise, she could end up with a fate much more terrible than Wendy‘s–much, much more terrible!
“They‘re gone. Why are you still staring into space?” The alluring, husky male voice pulled Yannie‘s wandering mind back to reality. She looked up and saw Thomas‘ handsome face right in front of her face.
The distance between their faces was less than an inch, so the refreshing sandalwood scent from Thomas‘ body was easily detected. His warm breath fanned Yannie‘s face.
At that moment, Yannie stopped breathing.
Thomas crossed his arms and placed them in front of his chest. He leaned on the wall elegantly and looked at Yannie relaxingly. “Yes, I was the one who leaked the rumor. but I didn‘t send anyone to take the photo and video.” He lifted his brow and glanced at Yannie. “There‘s no reason for me to send someone to follow a village girl.”

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
