“You and Joshua… Is your baby…”
Yannie furrowed her brow unhappily. “Hugo, I respect you because you‘ve been a kind, good manager to me, but if you continue to say such nonsense, I won‘t be nice to you anymore.”
She took a deep breath and sternly declared, “I‘m going to explain to you this once: Mr. Lynch helped me because I‘m a friend of his wife, Ms. Luna. My mother is working in his house as a maid. That‘s why I was in and out of his house when someone took those photos. As for my baby…”
She raised her head and looked at Hugo sternly. “If you truly take the time to understand Mr. Lynch and his wife‘s information, you‘ll notice he was never here in Merchant City when I was pregnant.”
She then closed her tired eyes and planted herself on the sofa. “That‘s all I want to say.”
Hugo furrowed his brow as he looked at Yannie. Finally, he sighed. “Yannie, please don’t be angry at me. I was just talking crap. I won‘t say it again, knowing you‘ll get mad because of that.”
He turned around and started to work with his laptop. “Take a rest. I’ll make the announcement and suppress the rumor.”
Yannie nodded. She closed her eyes and rested on the sofa.
Thomas left Merchant City to go to the mountain area to shoot his movie yesterday afternoon. Before he left, he had left homework for Yannie. He requested Yannie to stay at home and memorized the script.
The script was the next movie Thomas and Yannie would star in together. Even if Thomas did not request it, Yannie was ready to make an effort. As such, she did not sleep last night, having spent the whole night studying the script, understanding the characters, and also memorizing her lines.
She was about to take a rest when the sun was out when all of a sudden, her news took the city by storm.
“But…he did help us after all. Based on his personality, he must‘ve known Yannie was a celebrity from our agency. After how we targeted him previously, he‘s still willing to help. It‘s exceptional,” Hugo expressed his opinion.

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
