Chapter 2809 Gwen‘s question was too sharp that it startled Mr. Zink After a while, after much staring from Gwen and Steven, he sighed deeply and eventually fessed up. “I... Well, I didn‘t really know he was going to die.”
He sighed again. “It‘s a long story.” “Then you can tell us on the way.” Steven looked around and thought it was not safe to stay for too long He only managed to knock out the two guards, and once they woke up, they would surely inform the other guards. By then, there would not be just two guards stopping them. It was hard enough for him to take down those two guards, and he did not know if he could deliver the same result if there were more of them.
“Yes. You can tell us on the road.”
Steven‘s words prompted Gwen. She nodded vehemently and helped the weak Mr. Zink up to his feet with Steven‘s help. They used the same route they took before and helped Mr. Zink to escape the underground car park The three of them entered the cars, and Steven was the driver. Gwen sat at the back and used the medical box in the car to sanitize Mr. Zink‘s wounds. “What causes these?” When she first saw how bloodied Mr. Zink was in the underground car park, she did not know all this blood came from all these wounds.
“It‘s a long story...” Mr. Zink sighed and said the same thing.
Gwen rolled her eyes. “Why do you keep saying that? Just answer the question. I hate it when people don‘t answer the question directly.”
Mr. Zink sighed again, “After all, he was not even sixty years old yet. In addition, he didn‘t have any terminal illness, and he‘s in relatively good shape. Thus, there was no rush to have the will drafted. However, he told me he doesn‘t have plenty of time left. He forced me to draft out his will yesterday...” Gwen furrowed her brow. “So you‘re saying...he knew he didn‘t have much time left?” If that was not the case, he should not be in a hurry to make arrangements for his death after suffering a minor injury.

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
