Chapter 149 Call Me Honey 

Eanelie accompanied Mona to the police station to make a report. 

The account used to send the pictures to Mona’s company group chat left the group right after sending them. When they tracked it, they realized it wasn’t from a local IP address. 

That made it harder to track the person who did it. 

Emelie and Mona looked for Ashley, and she told them the truth. “The police aren’t going to look into this further unless you two can provide more helpful information.” 

It wasn’t a major incident, and it didn’t affect society greatly. No one actually got hurt as well. 

It would cost the police a lot to bring their investigation overseas. That was why it was normal for them to ignore it. 

Emelie was still trying to figure out their next step. However, Mona looked like she was exhausted. 

She kept her head down, devastated. Suddenly, she said, “Then, let’s forget about it…” 

“Forget about it? Don’t you want to get to the bottom of this?” Emelie asked. That wasn’t how Mona would usually act. 

Mona looked miserable as she said with her head down, “The company just messaged me and asked me to quit.” 

After losing her job and boyfriend, Mona lost all her pride and dignity. She was tired and felt there was nothing in life to look forward to. She had no intention to continue fighting. 

Mona mocked herself, “Besides, William will definitely help Daphne. How is an ordinary person like me going to win? 

“If I manage to anger him, that’ll be the end for me. What if I can’t find another job? I guess I’m just unlucky this time. I’ll learn from it and avoid Daphne in the 

future.” 

Emelie said nothing, frustrated by what was happening. 

Mona only offended Daphne because she wanted to get justice for Emelie. Plus, she was almost taken advantage of by Leon because she wanted to help Emelie get a job.

Meanwhile, William was backing Daphne. He was also the reason Emelie couldn’t get a job. 

Emelie felt suffocated, but there was nothing she could do.

After saying goodbye to Ashley, she left the lawyer’s office with Mona. 

When they came downstairs, they saw Elias.

Elias stroked his chin and scoffed. Then, he went up to see Ashley. 

Ashley frowned when she saw Elias coming in. “Didn’t I tell you not to see me at my office?” 

“I went home, and Mom asked me to bring you some supplements. I think it’ll be better for your body if you start having them now, so I’ve brought them here for you straightaway,” Elias said with a smile. 

“I care about you, Honey. Why aren’t you accepting my kindness?” 

He called her sweetly without any hesitation. 

Ashley looked at the back of the supplements and saw that they were supposed to help her get pregnant. She put it down coldly. “I’m not having them. Take them 

back.” 

Elias said meaningfully, “That’s how parents are. They want their children to get married and have babies. 

“We’ve only been married for a month and are in no rush. But Mom probably thinks you aren’t young anymore and you’ll pass the perfect age to have kids. That’s why she’s rushing you.” 

Ashley was nonchalant. “If there’s nothing else, you may leave now.” 

Elias stared at her icy expression as he stood up. However, he wasn’t leaving. Instead, he went up to her and picked her up from her seat. 

“What are you doing?” Ashley felt disgusted and wanted to get out of his hold. 

Elias looked handsome, and he smiled energetically. “I don’t think you need them as well. I can make you pregnant in no time.” 

Ashley understood what he was implying. Before she could say anything, he was already kissing her. 

“Let me go!” she shouted. 

Elias ignored her and pushed her documents away. Her mouse, pen, calendar, and even the supplements fell to the floor. 

After nearly an hour, Ashley was cleaning herself up in the restroom. She coldly looked at her soiled clothes. 

Elías only had a pair of pants on; his upper body was naked, showing off his muscles.
