 Chapter 175 Ridiculous 

Emelic frowned and asked, “Then should I go alone or wait?! 

Alexis shrugged, she wasn’t sure either. She mentioned she had to go out for work with Jayden, so she quickly headed off, not wanting to delay any longer. 

Emelle made another call to Patricia, deciding that if she didn’t answer, she’d just go by herself. After all, Patricia’s lack of punctuality was holding her back. 

This time, however, Patricia picked up. Her voice grew louder as she approached. “Ms. Haven, I’m here, Sorry for being late,” she said, walking up to her and hanging up the phone 

With a smile, she added, “Theld back for so many days, then I lost control last night. Almost couldn’t make it to work on time!! 

Emelie nodded and replied, “since you’re here, let’s get moving. We have a lot to do today” 

The project team had arranged a car for them. 

Ghen the workload and Patricia’s delay, time was tight. As soon as they got in the car, Emelle started discussing work with Patricia to make the most of their travel time. 

Emelie felt it was best to divide the tasks, with each person focusing on a different area to save time, 

However, Patricia seemed quite distracted. She constantly shifted in her seat, requested a cushion for her back, and stretched her legs. She complained about her back pain and leg discomfort, moving around every few seconds. 

“Ms. May, are you even listening to what I’m saying?” Emelie asked, her patience thinning 

“I’m not deaf, heard you,” Patricia replied with a smile, “But I think it’s better if we stick together it’s more efficient when two people work on one task and move on to the next. It’s easier to keep track of everything that way.” 

Emelie considered the suggestion and agreed it made sense. 

However, Patricia didn’t seem to contribute much once they arrived at the site. She mostly sat down or leaned against a wall, acting like abystander while Emebe handled the discussions with the project contect 

Patricia’s body language screamed discomfort, which Ele court ignore. Given the three guest service requests the night before, it made sense she would be feeling the 

aftermath. 

Emelle sighed inwardly, thinking it would have been better if she’d come alone. It would have saved time and avoided having to constantly introduce Patricia to everyone. 

The only time Patricia spoke during the meeting was to ask the project contact, “Is there a pharmacy nearby? I need to buy some pain relief cream. 

Emelie rolled her eyes internally and was speechless. 

The project Baison’s expression twisted with a mix of confusion and contempt as Patricia asked for directions to the nearest pharmacy. He chuckled dryly and pointed her in the right direction. 

“She’s really the business development manager?” he asked, disbelief clear in his voice 

She didn’t plan on barging in and confronting them. That would only make her job harder later. A 

warning was enough. 

She left the office, heading to the entrance. There, she ran into Patricia, who was returning from buying medicine. 

Emelie glanced at her. “Let’s head to the next place.”
